    1. Crafting - Any plans to speed up the synthesis process(mini game)

    2. Journal log - Any plans to put quest info on the map instead of having to go through the journal log - map button? example: I hit select to bring up my map and I see all my quest locations when I move my cursor over the "!" it tells me what the quest is.

    3. When are we going to see a delivery box and auction house? The market wards are so disappointing still.

    4. when are we going to see a proper guild/LS management system?

    These might seem a little negative :/ but I'm more interested in knowing how they intend to support the game after they make all these changes, the world is definetly more alive after 1.19 but i worry that in 2 weeks the server populations will be down again.

    1) Is there a plan to merge servers? With a game requiring so much cooperation and low interest how can we expect a fluid economy that will allow for new players to enter and current players to be able to utilize all the content.

    2) Are they concerned about losing people when they require people to pay a monthly fee after having played for free for so long, how to they plan to address issues.

    3) +1 to server issues. When do they plan to be addressed.

    -Are there any plans to completely redo some zones? For instance, Gridania entirely. Also, while I'm on the topic, any chance that the zones will be redone so they don't resemble each other. I can't tell if I'm in Eastern, Western, or Central Thanalan.

    -Any chance you can up the rate of return on anima?

    -Why is it acceptable that DoW/M get a lot of endgame treats, but crafters and gatherers are forever doomed to go alone. While we still have to trek the same amount of grind for our professions.

    Are latency and clunkiness issues ever going to be fixed? Current gen mmo are generally much more responsive than FFXIV, and this is a source of many frustrations for players who experiences these games before.

    Can solo players expect to reach max level in a timely fashion in the close future? I know many players who don't have the time or desire to play this game simply because finding a party is too bothersome, and guildleves grind is simply horrid.
    b)

    If no, can we expect a new feature that facilitate the creation of a party (automatic party finder or something)

    you misinterpret my goal. its not going to be an hour of light dodgy questions and cuddling about the game, telling him how its so nice and how so much good work has been done, its going to be hard questions for the entire time, making sure we get as many answers as we can

    so many interviews weve seen before have been tailor made for the absolute easiest time for the devs, so if you see me asking pussy questions during this one, then you know that I didnt have a choice.

    It's your interview, so feel free to ask whatever you see fit. The only thing I was trying to say is that whenever I see an interview where the interviewer seem to be angry or is mocking the person interviewed, it's generally awkward and not very satisfying.

    I agree with you when you say that most interviews until now have been mellow, and that's also terrible (maybe worse too). However, I believe there is a middle ground to aim for, and I hope that's what you had in mind. Let them humiliate themselves with their own shitty answer instead.

    besides, you guys pick the questions, my only one will be how they intend to remarket XIV after it fucked up the final fantasy brand name

    Ask them to fix this. Regional servers were in online games since basically online games existed. I would even bet the laggy/clunky combat we're currently seeing is far better in Japan. And this isn't just something they should look into for FFXIV. SE seems to be interested in making multiple MMOs, so they should look into setting up multiple server farms in multiple regions of the world for all those titles. I know I would have loved to play XI on a server in my region, just imagine always having an extra half-second to stun TP moves. Or actually being able to claim NMs pre-claim delay patch. Anyhow, I've never understood why a company as big as SE didn't set up regional servers when it improves gameplay so much for the rest of the world.

    - With new MMOs such as Tera, Rift, and Guild Wars 2 we are seeing a trend of dynamic events which seem to be very popular with players. Currently we have Garlean forces attack outside some of the Aethrate camps but it seems to be poorly implemented as the challenge of those battles seem to be minimal and reward non existent. Are you planning to dynamic events that will be more challenging along with a system that recognizes players contribution to defending the world event if it's just company seals?
    - We've been hearing for so long now about the big bad wolf that is Garlean Empire. However, currently the Empire and their great generals are nothing but a joke and do not affect us whatsoever. Are we ever going to see a large scale invasions or some sort of large influence on our world that the Garleans will have?

    My main question is why did you take out of the old traditional way of experience points parties (group together and find an area to chain) and replace them with leves? Then nerf leves that gave us reasonable exp, and give higher levels really only one desirable spot to EXP (Raptors)? Is there areas being release/mobs being released, where you can party and exp together in groups efficiently? And a lot of people have touched on the party search system.

    Please tell me you are releasing HNM's/other mob types to camp as a Linkshell, compete as a linkshell, and reward members with rare drops.
    Will there be events such as dynamis? Limbus? I see they took that same kind of idea in the creation of dungeons, but running through a cave in an hour trying to kill Batraal in 25 mins is not nearly as accomplishing to getting AF2, killing Shadow, and getting currencies for relics.

    Job Meaning
    Someone asked this earlier, and I feel it is crucial. I know that I'm referencing to FFXI a lot however.. because it was successful.
    When will Conjurer / THM have a specific job like a black mage to burst.. or a red mage to debuff, or a white mage to keep the party alive? What roll are they planning on and why?

    At some point in the near future, before the PS3 version of the game is completed, do you believe that Final Fantasy XIV will need to be re-released in an effort to revitalize the game's downtrodden image and repopulate the servers?

    - Why did you choose to make stats on materia of the same type and tier random? It's incredibly annoying for min-maxers and isn't even compatible with the Item Search Counter as it displays every piece as the lowest quality possible within its range.

    i'd like to know what kind of priority SE places on ffxiv. not too long ago wada admitted that FFXIV damaged the entire brand which i feel brings up the question of just how much more stock SE is willing to put into the game.

    since you've become the director have been offered you all the resources you've requested since taking over? has company management ever been a hindrance to (or limited) your reworking of the game, in lieu of other SE projects or agendas? how involved are they with regards to the current developmental process of the game?

    - How do you plan to adjust the Market Ward system so that we can view items affixed with Materia when buying them so players don't have to check every retainer. Along the same line as this are there any plans to increase the item listing beyond the 20 cheapest. With a growing player base there is going be a substantial need to view more than 20 on popular items as item price will vary greatly on the affixed Materia.

    - When is Ishgard getting released and will it have its own Market Wards?

    - Are there any plans for Guild Marks in the works because players have a ridiculous amount. Perhaps some sort of way to use them to purchase consumables.

    - What is the progress on the server reworking and when is this planned to be released?

    - Do you have a plan to market FFXIV on a large scale before the PS3 release to get the word out that it is a new and improved game and to show off the game to those who may have never heard of it?

    - Are there any plans to release more world HNMS such as Dodore, Uraeus, Great Buffalo etc? These were a great addition and it is nice they drop materials that can be used to make powerful items.
