You're probably teching too early or too often. You can't just spam it or it won't work.

I started playing mahvel again as well, if anyone's down for some brobox matches. If soulfists make you too salty i can swap to doom or vergil on point, both of which need some serious work

I never spam grab, honestly though I should in certain situations. The only time techs have worked is when I grab a full second early, there's no reason that should happen. Grabbing online seems to be impossible for me to tech, and the only reason I get a tech is because I was going for a grab myself. Vandole was doing this stupid block string, and I knew exactly when he would grab every time, but I still couldn't tech. A ken was literally doing cross up mk, block string, grab, cross up mk etc. and I couldn't do a thing about it and got grabbed each time until I was dead. I'm so salty, I don't mind losing, but I get upset when I lose to scrub tactics or things I literally can't do anything about. Fuck it, switching to Sagat -.- learning kara DP now.

I used to try to kara crouch tech all the time, but I've since learned not to do that.
