Best in my opinion would have to have been GTA Vice City. The music rocked!! Last GTA had what seemed like a dead world compared to most games today. Hope the next one has a more 'active' world.

The last one would have been perfect imo if it wasn't for your cell phone going off every 15min because someone wanted to socialize with you, and you being negatively affected (or lose a missable) by it if you decline.

Saints Row did these so well that its good to see GTA refocusing on them, even if Saints Row had nothing to do with the final decision.

PC Version up for Pre-Order on Euro Sites, Uncut Edition Rumored

German retailers Amazon.de and GamesOnly.at are listing Grand Theft Auto V for PC—the latter complete with box art.

Rockstar has yet to announce a PC version of the upcoming sequel, which has only been confirmed for a PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 relese on September 17.

Additionally, a user on a German Grand Theft Auto fan forum claims the console listings for the game (PS3, 360), which like the PC version are both labeled the “Uncut Edition,” previously listed the following bonuses:

SteelBook with exclusive Artwork
World map
Stunt-Planes challenges
Online-Store concessions
Bonus outfits
Bonus Tattoos
Special Abilities Booster
Exclusive weapons

Considering there’s no cache of the page, we cannot confirm this, however.

Wasn't the GTAIV collectors edition (the one with the lockbox), priced at $99? Cause it it was, then what the fuck. $50 cheaper and came with better shit than this one.

Gta4 is on steam but connects to windows live when you turn the game on, sometimes it's annoying but most of the time not noticeable. The only time it was noticeable was when I bought the EFLC xpac or whatever off amazon which was windows live and is a separate application. Only somewhat annoying since you can add nonsteam games to your library.

I can see this route happening again, seems kind of silly not to use steam since it'll reach a bigger audience.

Regardless of how it's distributed, this is a PC purchase through and through. I actually can't understand why people would play this on console after playing 4 on my PC. Even without mods, the game plays and looks great on PC. With mods, my god it may be one of the most entertaining games ever to play with friends. The script to make the cars freak out and fly 800mph in random directions and do retarded shit, I've never laughed so hard. Modded vehicles are cool too, putting real life LED light bars on cop cars and adding real vehicles into the game is pretty cool.

I still play 4 online with a few RL friends late at night, and I cry every time. Typically wake up others in my house. Can't wait for 5, so happy I won't have to wait tooooooooo much longer for the PC version after release.
