Saints Row is what GTA should be, but I guess RockStar would rather try and be more "formal" about their presentation of their product, take it too seriously, ect.

Shit could look like GTA 3 for all I care, as long as it has the crazy fun that they had with San Andrea's and Vice City.

was there some sort of censorship lawsuit against game companies about gore or something? gta vice city, you could shoot people's heads, arms, and legs off. I dont remember if you could in san andreas. Obviously couldnt in gta IV. I noticed that with call of duty as well, in WaW you could bayonett people's chests open or blow people's legs off with bouncing betties. No gore in any CoD since. whats up with that?

I always could understand the lack of children and animals to kill, but I never understood why they stopped with the gore. I want bodies to react appropriately to me slamming into a pedestrian at 150mph.

Really don't want smashed up piles of flesh and blood in a game like this. Would definetly increase daily feed on theync though.

Hot on the heels of yesterday’s news regarding Take-Two Interactive’s CEO getting grilled on lack of Grand Theft Auto V updates, today Eurogamer reports that there are some stirrings from the game after all. The website for the Epsilon Program—a satirical take on Scientology within the GTA-verse—has been updated, as has its Twitter account.

The updates themselves don’t actually reveal, like, anything about the game. No news about a release date, no story information…no nothing. But the stirrings indicate that, yes, Grand Theft Auto V is alive and moving along. I’m sure that we’ll get more news regarding the game over the next few weeks and months.

Yesterday, the investor call with Take-Two Interactive’s bigwigs went online, and company CEO Strauss Zelnick was asked point blank about the status of Grand Theft Auto V, one of Take-Two’s most anticipated titles, which has yet to be given a release date.

Investor Mike Hickey of National Alliance Securities asked:

“…we’ve heard nothing, next to nothing, on GTA V development over the last couple months. We’ve seen a couple screenshots. The game is believed by the stret to be implied by your guidance for this fiscal year, but what believability do we have that this game is actually going to come out this year?”

Zelnick replied:

“We haven’t talked about a release date. So obviously we can’t talk about the credibility of a release date that we haven’t announced.”

Hickey continued to ask about the company’s communication with Rockstar Games, GTA’s developer. Zelnick said:

“We wouldn’t talk publicly about the way we communicate with our teams internally. We are blessed to be in business with the Rockstar folks and everyone knows that I feel that way. We have the best creative teams in the business throughout our company.”

Hopefully a new trailer will be out in the next few months, this is the game I am most looking forward too.

That cheeta looks awesome. I am assuming these are xbox pics because of the bad AA.

Also, that looks to be a white guy piloting the jet.

Edit: on second look its harder to tell. doesn't look like CJ though. doesnt look like vercetti either. Looks kind of hispanic

I would assume PC between everything outside of the aliasing is too .......pristine looking.

Unless the new next-gen filter will be motion blurring and depth-of-fielding everything farther than 10ft away to allow the processing time to make anything in the immediate vicinity look beautiful.
