I haven't signed up. Still pondering. I think if I were to purchase I'd go with the Atlas. Just cuz. If the Timber Wolf/Madcat was an option... then there would be no option.

Oh I know that, but I do want to support them if the product is good. I loved MW4, and would gladly throw money in the kitty just to say "thanks for getting your IP back from shitty Microsoft, who butchered the franchise on Brickbox", but the amount I throw in is going to depend on how good I think the game feels.

If it turns out to be a souped-up clone of MW: Mercs, with smooth controls, I might go all in. I loved the game that much.

MW2: Mercs was by far the best thing ever. I'm in the same boat though. I don't want to spend money without trying it. That's why it sucks not being in the beta

That is a depressingly relateable set of circumstances.
Considering that in order to get beta access, you had to put up your hardware specs, it would be very unlikely someone in that situation would get in.

Wonder if outside temps will effect how fast/slow you build up heat. I think in MW4 you could stand in water to have your mech cool down much faster. Was pretty cool to be able to use your environment like that.
