I would never draft Kobe simply because I can't root for him.

No, I'm a little bit more serial with fantasy football. And I can't think of anyone I dislike enough in the NFL not to draft(Reggie Bush is the closest).

Correct. If I get your meaning, it means that you can have 4 Centers playing every day if you want(1 Center slot and 3 Utility slots).

yeah basically i wanted to know if we need to be maxing out our games played every day, or rationing (like in roto leagues).

Yeah. max them out. Since it's 5/8 counting stats it is usually best to just accumulate as many stats/games played as possible.

Ugh I hate 14+ team leagues. Dilutes the quality of the picks too much. You're not going to blow people away but you should make the playoffs with that lineup.

    Two sets of questions:

    (1) What's going on in Orlando's rotation? (fantasy related)

I'm thinking of going heavy to acquire Ryan Anderson -- I read that he might be the starting PF, and would get a lot of burn if Howard ends up elsewhere. I'm thinking he can put up numbers like Troy Murphy two years ago.

And what are thoughts on JJ Reddick? He put up decent numbers in his starts, it looks like the SG job is solely his.

    (2) Thoughts on rookies?
Who's likely to make the most impact? Kyrie Irving looked good the other day, Fredette put up 21. Kanter? Williams? Vesely? Kemba?

Idk shit about the magic, staying away from anyone not named Dwight Howard.

Kemba and Irving are the only rookies in target until someone makes some noise.

Kanter won't make a big impact this year, he's way too raw and Utah is pretty full on big men with Al Jefferson, Paul Millsap, Derrick Favors, and Mehmet Okur. He does have a lot of potential, but he needs a lot more work before he really does anything in the league.

hard to say who's gonna start. i don't think they signed davis to that contract for him to come off the bench, though. even if anderson does start, he's not gonna put up troy murphy numbers. but still a lot of 3's and some decent rebounds.

and redick is an option for solid 3's and %'s, but nothing more. decent player to have to fill in a weakness though.

and irving is gonna be ROY. people are saying he's looking even quicker than he ever did at duke. i might put stock in brandon knight in a deeper league.

Most of the other rookies have veterans playing in front of them. If a vet gets hurt or is ineffective, then you might see a rookie get some playtime.

Ryan Anderson should be viable for fantasy but I wouldn't "go heavy" for him. It's not like he is going to set the world on fire even if Howard gets traded(which could be halfway through the season). I think you would just be getting modest points and boards with some 3s.

The SG job is not Redick's. Jason Richardson will start like last year. Redick should get solid minutes off of the bench but he is not going to provide much aside from 3s.

Don't put too much stock into preseason performances. Kyrie Irving and Kemba Walker are the main rookies worth drafting before the late rounds because they should both get plenty of run. It is easy to fall in love with some rookies' potential but it rarely translates that first year.
