    Tachikoma, I noticed something that might help you in your debugging.
    As I said, when I roll over the columns they progressively appear. I noticed however that the names column doesn't. It gets all buggy when I roll over that collumn. The yellow bubble displays in a wierd fashion and is often not udpating.
    Maybe it will help you find a solution.

    This actually helps a lot, one of the things I enhanced with lrParser was the tooltips on the main dmg page. I wanted to know what each players WS breakdowns were rather then just dps. I will check if the combination of displaying the extra data on the tooltip and the possibility of bad character recognition makes this error happen.

    Also i'll fix the EXP counter to reset when you click Menu>Restart... but it is possible to get over 200k/hour exp this is a SS from the other day :D

    Try using the new version this one has an extra setting in the "Setup" where you can turn off the Dmg done tooltips try that out let me know how it works.

    I'm at work, whats the log show when you evade an attack? what about when another player in your party evades? This probably broke with 1.19 but it might have never worked not sure. Should be an easy fix though once I get a log entry with evades.


    EDIT: I found how evades work, its just with the keyword misses which is a very common term in logs and represents all aspects of both attacks and defensive evades. This makes it VERY messy to try and parse properly. the things I could add to track evades would put players accuracy numbers at risk of being off if the player started a parse with a miss it would essentially toss out that line. Once a player is established in the program in the players table I can then track evades but the issue is if they are not in the table and they perform evades I can't tell if the line is for a players action or an enemy.

    Early materia conversion support, saved in file "C:\Users\myName\.BGParser\materia.txt"

    If you open this file with Open Office or microsoft Excel you can import as .csv this lets you see the materia conversion like this:

    What this does is allow you to run the parser afk in ul dah and collect conversion data on items. Then if you want to target a specific item you could find out which items most likely turn into the materia you want. Knowledge is Power

    Noticed last night I receive an error when tank uses Aegis Boon, may just be my end or I may need to update but never saw any mention of the error. I just assumed it was maybe related to Sentinel being removed from the game now.

    Pretty sure that was an error pre 1.19.

    I remember parrying or something also causing an error.

    The new Aegis Boon syntax in 1.20 caused some errors; there's a new build up @ http://www.fileswap.com/dl/onB6QW2Sr...ogle2.jar.html that fixes moogle-related parsing issues.

    updated the parser again and added support for Ifrit weapons "additional fire dmg" effect. I still need a moogle weapon to drop for DOM/DOW so I can test those effects myself 0/15... Seems like ifrit added effect procs about 10% on the moogles.

    Tachikoma, I haven't checked out your parser yet.. does work with gathering?

    As I'm starting to try and gather some data, I was wondering if it can track HQ rate, multiple items, and/or abilities triggering.

    if you are interested I can add features for DOH I was already planning a new gathering tab for the luminary items when SE patched progress in 1.20a. If you sent me log files (find them by the main post on my thread) then I'd be happy to whip something up. I don't currently have any DOH going so I dont' have the logs myself. When I finish my ARM in a few weeks I might start up some mining but that is a long ways away.

    The breakdowns tab stays blank and materia conversion errors on the latest build for me. Anytime anyone converts materia a popup window comes up saying to report the conversion error. And the materia file stays blank, nothing is being written to it.

    Everything else works fine. Anyone else having the same problems with the latest build?

    when ppl convert dex 1 materia I was getting the materia error myself but outside of that it was working fine. Also you should open the materia file in a simple text editor like notepad++ rather then M$word. Also the convert materia feature only works if "clear log" check box is checked otherwise it could potentially parse and log the conversion of duplicate materia data. I have been running the parser for a week or so in ul dah on and off and right now I've logged 2k+ materia conversions I'll post up some data when 1.21 is about to hit if I find anything interesting so far it is pretty much just "every item has an equal chance at each of its respective materia" like there is no benefit to materia'ing a silver tricorn vs a linen dearskin hat each has the same % on each of its possible types of materia.

    any 41+ hat=> 35% INT / 35% MND / 10%magic eye / 10% magic eva / 5% pixie toungue / 5% courles eye (not exact just example)

    edit: just tested on moogle breakdown tab was fine
