the whole tourney was hype in the end, and it finished right on schedule despite the hiccups w/ KOF, but it all went well. I got bodied for free on stream D: but that's when i got sent to losers, i did not know the hagger match and i got super impatient. But thanks to this I have leveled up my game just a bit.

The only undeserving win i got was my first match since the guy's stick broke midmatch and he pretty much said fuck it and kept going with it. He adjusted quickly but it kinda sucked for him. I was extremely satisfied that I won 2 matches in winners and 1 in losers, for my first true UMvC3 tournament, It really did end up better than I expected.

Was good stuff bro, hopefully you get in more matches. The room was hype for sure, and ThoseGuys are awesome hype men for all three games.

Just need to tell those cats that they have a audio/video problem. Stream had as many as 50+ at one point, but people kept leaving because the lag was unbearable (no option to turn up or down the quality) and the sound was even more annoying. I'm sure they will iron it out before next week, however.

South Florida is gonna be hype if they can fix that. People will come for Flocker gameplay, and stay to watch GreenAce, Pain, Ben, Deejay, you, Flashmetroid, and more. Real happy for you dudes -- blow up to the likes of NYC/NJ in the making.

Space was not much of an issue also, there was 1 TV in plain sight in the arcade to watch the match and one TV on the outdoor window streaming the match also, so no one had issues being able to view.

Fairly sure Twitch only lets you do a single stream unless you're sponsored, so that's really no fault of their own. Still no reason for the awful quality I saw when I opened it but nothing that can't be easily fixed.

Ahh I see, that would make sense then. Everyone starts somewhere however, it'll be alright in the end. I'm fully expecting Miami to be the next hub of the East Coast tournament scene. Apart from Final Round, the ATL has had it's chance and squandered it.

Sort of, the multiple-resolution stream function is still in beta for Justin/Twitch, and they don't quite have the resources to give it to everyone yet. They invited bigger-name streams that have lots of followers to try it out. I'm not sure the number of followers you need to be invited but most of the ones that offer it have 5,000+. If you're expecting a lot of viewers you're probably best off going with 360p or 480p to accommodate as many people as possible.

The organizer literally got his stream setup worked out the day of the event. He had no idea what he was doing. We're going to talk to the owner of the arcade this week and see if we can run our own stream next time.
