Okay, apparently we're having a tournament here in may and already have 150 people saying they will come. SFXT/marvel will be the main events. how many of you southfags would possibly be willing to road trip out to central MS? ARK is coming to stream, and i'm working on getting NOS to come

also depending on who comes may be able to just crash at my place

funny thing about that is, all the douches in fgc play LoL while the cool people play dota 2. marn doesnt play dota 2 because "its too hard"

Dole, give me a crash course on dota 2 as far as best champs to play/start with etc. :D i play carries in LoL.

Do not touch a fucking carry until you have at least 50 games under your belt and you know how to stay alive and get farmed. dota 2 actually requires skill, unlike league of legends. you need to stick with hardcore supports so you can earn the privilege to play carries. Venomancer, vengeful spirit, lion, shadow shaman, earth shaker, tidehunter. you need to know why each ward spot is used, you need to be able to telekenetically read your teams mind when its safe to farm. but NEVER FUCKING START WITH CARRIES. this isnt a scrub game. you're also going up against people who have played this 6+ years longer than you. you WILL NOT win if you go in blind deaf and dumb.

the current metagame of dota 2 is not based around a 45 minute "whoevers carry farms the most quickly wins" right now. it's all about earlygame strength and winning as fast as possible so carries can't get farmed. much faster paced. much much harder. i played at 1800 before i quit league of legends and it was stupid easy, and that was like top 200 back then. i'm not even in the top tier of dota 2 and my games are rather difficult

Just a little bit ago, Ryan “Fubarduck” Harvey mentioned on Twitter that his feed was exploding with Japanese players excited over the latest announcement from the folks behind Super Battle Opera. Supposedly, Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 was recently added to this year’s lineup, joining Soul Calibur V as the first console exclusive games to join the tournament. They’ll be announcing the format later, but the game’s addition to a single-elimination tournament is interesting. We’ll keep you posted as more information becomes available.

Marvel is gonna be a hype ass game in Japan, even if they take it as a joke.
