The first trailer for FoC was 10x better than Bay's movies -- at least that's how much more it got me more excited..

That said, the original movie was a traumatic experience that we shouldn't talk about ever!

Michael Bay is starting to prep up to make Transformers 4, which will include a whole new cast of actors, and we'll be seeing some new robot characters as well. Shia LaBeouf is not returning, and that's ok with me. It will be interesting to see what story they tell, but we know that it will be a continuation of the the first three movies, and not a complete reboot.

It was recently revealed by Spoiler TV that Paramount Pictures and Bay are looking to cast the lead female character and her boyfriend. Here's the description...

The new female lead that they are looking for is a high school senior and her boyfriend a Texas racing driver.

About the only thing the bay movies do right is the guy that does the voicework for Optimus. Epic voice on that guy.

I honestly thought the first one was great, even with all the human stories going on. The next two though were just... ugh. The worst part was him saying it would be more focused on robots, but when the movies came out it seemed like more human time than the movie before.

No, 100 times NO. Bay did not have anything to do with the casting of Peter Cullen. Peter Cullen IS the voice of Optimus Prime. Bay's just lucky that he decided to come back and provide Prime's voice again.

Apparently director Michael Bay is in early talks with Mark Wahlberg to star in Transformers 4. As talks have just begun nothing is official. Wahlberg and Bay recently worked together on the film Pain and Gain, so it makes sense that they would want to work together again. Wahlberg has that kind of personality that would fit a movie like this. Wahlberg is hit and miss for me with the films he makes, but he's able to bring that everyman feel to the characters he plays. He also is a solid action star that gets people into the theaters.

Transformers 4 is going to be a sequel that I think will end up feeling like a reboot, as there's going to be a whole new cast, and a new gang of robots. It was recently revealed that one of the main characters would be a high school girl, Twitch adds in their report that the story will revolve around an adult character, that character would be the girl's father which might end up being played by Wahlberg. The site goes on to explain that the child "would then grow to be the focus of subsequent entries in the series."
