Just the dot dmg
Just the dot dmg
To add a mid-level target mob to the spreadsheets, I got stats on the Cicatricose Raaz in Kamihr.
Raaz lvl 113 (battlemod)
722 acc == neutral eva
723 acc == low eva
Evasion = 713
neutral def = 753 att
high def = 752 att
Defense = 753
Blm/Rdm
MAB 265
MDmg 250
Int 237
Water II == 2259
Aero II == 2277
Matches a dInt of 114, putting mob Int at 123
Pup Automaton:
Str: 92+89 = 181
Dex: 96+89 = 185
Skill: 421
WSC = 50% dex == 185 * 50% = 92 * 0.85 = 78
Base damage: (421*0.11) = 46 * 2 = 92 + 10 = 102 + WSC = 102 + 78 = 180
fStr2 = base damage - 180
2x Wind, 1x Fire, Dia II
Armor Shatterer wo/Gloves (repeated 3 times): 3037
3037 == at least 203 base damage
fStr2 == at least 23
== dStr 43
Target vit = 138
Note that this was not a multiple of 15, but since it repeated multiple times in a row, took it as a half-point mark for fStr. Don't feel like repeating those fights right now.
Overall Stats:
Raaz lvl 113
Vit = 138
Int = 123
Agi = ~127 (estimated by mnk stat progression)
Def = 753
Eva = 713
Will be adding this mob to the spreadsheets with the next set of updates.
Not sure if it's documented but Twitheyrms take -8.75% damage towards Breaths. Flame Breath from Wyvern does 495 on neural mandragoras, Frost Breath does 433 on Twitheryms. Not yet sure if it's just BDT or DT. BDT specifically would be interesting, since its such an uncommon type of damage for players(A few BLU spells, Wyvern Breaths, Spirits Within, Chi Blast, Mijin Gakure, Atonement)
Hmmm I don't remember getting something like that when I tested with spirits/atonement
I have a question; when the stat Weapon Skill Damage was tested to only affect the first hit, what WSs were used? Were any of the WSs that transfer fTP tested? I'm wondering if it's possible that Weapon Skill Damage transfers to every hit on such WSs, given a possible similarity with fTP transfer.
So Wintry cave appears to have 136 int (or at least the one I am currently nuking) so something to keep in mind if you are just going just standby and T1 them as 236+ int is fairly easy to get on mage jobs
Has anyone tested the Circle job point enhancement:
"Reduces the amount of damage taken by X while under the effect of X Circle; reduces damage taken by 1."
I can't tell by the description if it's an implied 1% per upgrade or if it's actually a -1 damage, akin to a Phalanx effect. Both are disappointingly weak but the latter would be even more useless.
Reading other JP descriptions I think it may actually be -1 per upgrade, so -10 damage taken against dragons....after millions of exp.
I believe it was tested to be basically phalanx effect like you described
Base Blue Magic Attack = (Skill + STR/2) * Potency Merit Attack Bonus
Blue Magic Attack = Base Blue Magic Attack + Attack From Gear and Minuets (added right on)
Final Blue Magic Attack = Blue Magic Attack + Percentage Boosts Based on Main Hand
Therefor:
Blue Magic Attack = ((skill + STR/2) * PotencyMerits) + EquipMinuetAttack + MainHandPercentageBonus
so, for example, we have 440 skill, 600 base main hand attack, 160STR, 5 merits in potency, 2 +3 minuets, 150 attack from gear, and berserk
(440 + 160/2) * 20/256 = 520
520 + 150 + 136 = 806
736 * 1.25 = 920 - 736 = 184
806 + 221 = 1027
Blue Magic Attack = 1027
The amount of attack that you get from percentage bonuses is based on the mainhand. So in this example, we have a base attack of 600 for the main hand and are adding on berserk (25%), 150 from gear, and 2 +3 minuets (136). Therefor, 600 + 150 + 136 = 886 then 886 * 1.25 = 1107. Remove base again, 1107 - 886 = 221. So blue magic attack is gaining 221 from berserk because main hand gained 221 from berserk.
Data was in the realm of 200 samples for each of three major tests, gathered by Sekundes on Ragnarok (thanks much!). Chance of inaccuracy small, however if there's an error then the difference in damage would be around 1-2 points most of the time.
Since it doesn't seem widely known, I tested (and posted somewhere) that physical potency merits = +4/256 attack per merit in addition to +2 accuracy per merit.
Also worth noting the monster I used to test: Level 100 Fernfelling Chapuli. 110VIT 498DEF. Good for testing attack bonuses and whatnot. Best thing I could find anyways.
Might of been posted already but Resphite Cloak since you can't equip head gear still makes it act like your wearing lvl 119 headgear for ilvl average.
Amphipteres are actually Crows.
I just randomly killed Zirtana (sp?) and another Amphiptere with the Crows unity quest up and they both counted.
IDK if this has been stated before or not but I think its orignal...
So some cook was trying to off load some Group Food today on Asura and normally I hate group foods. Can cause so much trouble and most suck but I had the bright idea to test if would work on trusts. To my surprise it did.
Warthog Stewpot
HP +10% (cap 50)
Attack +10% (cap 20)
Ranged Attack +10% (cap 40)
Now my test just focused on if Trust HP went up or not. I presume since it did they got the other effects too.
Link to the JP data was posted on AH and don't see it posted anywhere here, so Quick Magic caps at +/-10%.
http://blog.livedoor.jp/luteff11/archives/43046191.html
What do you mean by -10%?
The fact a JP guy says it doesn't necessarily means it's correct? Can anybody translate parts of that page to see how meaningful the tests that guy did are?
It's not exactly an easy test to fuck up. You cast a spell X number of times and record the number of quick casts you get over that period. The sample size is nearly 500, the margin of error is tiny and the likelihood of it being anything other than 10% is minuscule. With 21% Quick magic, to only get the proc 10% of the time over a period of nearly 500 samples is nothing short of telling you "this is definitely capped".
Attack Bonus VIII gives Attack +96. I don't have actual testing on VII, but the pattern says it's +84, so I put that into the wiki. If you don't think that's solid enough, you can revert it.
Also, fun fact: Last Resort Job Points apply the +2 attack per level before all sources of multiplicative attack.
Old as dirt but discovered last night dicking around with nostalgia.
Diabolos-Nox has AI that does not take kindly to you resisting Death. Uses Death as an infrequent spell (4 times in 15 mins). But if you resist it, he immediately recasts it until it lands.
Also has silly defence, was only hitting for between 0-200 and WS'ing for 1k in ilvl 119 gear (Granted lolpld)
So looking to do some testing of pet stuff mostly physical dmg right now and was wondering if there was a decent list of mobs with known def/evasions. Obviously needing ones I wont auto cap on and ones whose levels I can determine without battlemod (so either max lvl of 119 or if above the levels it can be can be easily distinguished via /check) and also would like at least one nm one as well that obviously doesn't do things that make testing a pain (ie not super dmging no debuffs/buffs that effect dmg it will take) and again easy to know levels
