    MsJans revival - 2.5.5

MsJans is an external 3rd party application to help healers in FFXI. It displays the HP of anyone in your party/alliance or from a custom list of people. Also it helps to quickly target anyone and cast spell on them with a click.

    Download 2.5.5

I'd appreciate if people could post if it doesn't work for them, which OS they use and if it's 32/64 bits.

Program still works. Incorrectly reads alliance and group (maybe due to error?) . I'm solo but shows old group members.

    Custom spell buttons work
    Adding players works.
    Stand and rest works.
Mp seems to be reading from me only, could just be the loading error.
is a QS button, what does that do? right clicking does nothing, quick status is it?

oh, need's auto return focus to ffxi option too.

    • Adding the same person twice to the list will explode.
    • QS (QuickSpell) button not done for now.

    !!!
I loved this program in dynamis back in the day. I was so sad when it didn't work anymore. If I get a chance, I'll try it out and see how it works.

    Windows XP Pro 32bit, SP3

So far so good, I'm not getting any errors in the 10 minutes I've been using it.

I'll continue to test, thanks for reviving this!

    *Edit
I've noticed when you go to buttons and add a spell that if you misspell a spell you can't delete or edit that spell, I have to just add another one.
Was thinking, if you could have a delete button on the Available side like there is on the Selected side, that would take care of that.

Updated OP download link to alpha 2 to fix a few crashes.

And I do realize its alpha, I'm just trying to help. The buttons are not saving also for example if I add a bunch of new buttons then exit the game and log back in I have to readd them all, but I'm sure your aware of that.

    Win7 ultimate 64 bit.

It kind of works. It will display my own hp and mp accurately but none of the buttons do anything for me. I'm uncertain if I need to do anything prior to use. I tossed both items in to my plugins folder thinking that perhaps the dll needed to be in there but it had no effect.

Unzip anywhere you want as long as the .exe and .dll are in the same directory, run the .exe and MsJans will talk to the running Windower instance to send the commands. It won't work if you use FFXI windowed mode.

As one would probably guess, today's version update broke this.

I get an unhandled exception error, but it's likely do to my computer incompetence and not the program. Any suggestions? (once this gets back up after the update, of course)

Yep, it's working again. I can't wait for the Always on top button, sucks alt-tabbing to use it everytime

Does this happen only with people in your alliance?
