Anyone tested the weapons yet? What are the MP/HP absorbs like?
I still don't get how you are supposed to exploit this fight.
Basically if someone dies in phase 2 (after memento), peg a raise on someone and have the rest wipe away from whoever has raise. Most of the moogle will be facing the last person who died. Then just raise people up and restart. It's pretty cheap way to do it but a "win's a win" I guess. I'd never do it since that's not really intended and phase one is not exactly mp intensive with strong dps that know their combos. Surviving memento isn't exactly difficult with sentinel and stoneskin so it's kind of a waste of time to even bother wiping for the menial amount of mp you get from resetting the fight.
general strategy in phase 2...
Everyone gathers then one mage aoes stoneskins, other heals party to full. Three melee and the mage who previously case stoneskin should prism cure/curaga. Gladiator aoes the group of moogles and kites while another tank (we use marauder) kites just the king. Group picks off moogles in whatever order you decide is best for you. We use the marauder kiter cuz we kill king 4th or 5th and they can tank and dps it since they have built up a lot of enmity up to that point. Second glad can tank better but dps output not as high onviously.
Melee/archers should use prism+cure as needed and ride second wind. Gladiator kiter will take decent damage until the ranged attacking moogles are taken out. Also tailturner can petrify if he gets too close and that can get ugly.
Anyhow, the fight is deeper than ifrit and takes 12-20 minutes to clear depending on group and setup.

My group can't survive Memento, it does from 2k+ to 4k, i was reading something about the number of moogle killed affect it, is it true?
Probably. Once we were able to get all but whiskerwall down in phase 1 we never had any deaths on memento.
Killing all moogles get's Momento Moogle to around 1k I think, since it seems to do around 500 damage with rampart/sent/stoneskin.
Could be lower on average, I remember seeing it do around 300-400 once.

If anyone is suuuuper bored, could they copy the quest transcript or write up a little thing (in a spoiler tag, I suppose) that explains the premise behind this moogle fight? Why you have to fight them, etc.
I would love to do it, but my Linkshell disbanded. I've just been grinding for Luminary Hatchet by my lonesome since the patch. I haven't bothered looking for a shout group, but I don't thinking joining a PUG this soon after the content is released is worth my time. inb4 "LOL YOUR TIME ISN'T WORTH SHIT IF YOU'RE GRINDING A DOL LUMINARY TOOL".

Suuuuper frustrating when the moogles KEEP ON INFLATING. Just had a promising run get completely screwed by inconveniently fat moogles.
