My wife is at Dragon Con this weekend and just got a duck face pic with Kelly Sue DeConnick and got a Hannah from Rat Queens sketch from the Rat Queens guy. I'm jealous.. stupid damn work!

I'm behind on comics again because I decided to read all of Y: the Last Man for the first time. Only about ten issues to go and it's amazing, but still think Saga is better.

When I first read it I wasn't super happy about the final issue, but it's definitely grown on me over the years. The feels in the final few issues are too damn real.

Finished it last night. Goddamn Ampersand in the final issue killed me. It was a great last bunch of issues.. I couldn't put it down. It was really pretty sad. =/

Bendis is just shitting all over X-Men. Latest Uncanny was so awful. Ending to Original Sin was lame too, if you can call that an ending.

I was attributing that to all his cybernetic enhancements, but I definitely started zoning out towards the end of the comic because I remembered I don't give a shit about solo Wolverine comics.

Caught up with Original Sin and, while it wasn't great, I actually didn't think it was that bad. The only event recently that was better (by a lot) was Infinity. I'd rank it above AvsX, Fear Itself, and Age of Ultron. I kind of liked that it had a smaller scope than some horrible world ending mega-event. I'm also a sucker for any comic that manages to get Bucky, Moon Knight, the Punisher, and Rocket in on the same pages. (Even if they weren't really used well, save for Bucky.)

Felt like reading more Aaron afterwards and caught up with Southern Bastards and I really enjoyed it. It seems made to be an AMC, Sundance hour long drama.
