Brubaker was so fantastic on Cap, but I fell so far behind. Need to catch up on that and start Winter Soldier. Remender has big shoes to fill.

All New X-Men team is revealed by Bendis. The present day team that is not the time traveling one as those are already pretty obvious.

also Journey Into Mystery announced. Kathryn Immonen writing, Valerio Schiti on art.
Spoiler: show
also holy jesus Saga is so fantastic. It could go on forever and I'd be ok with it.
Oh Kitty Pride and Lockheed in the new X-men??? just need to find another place to procure them since I always got things from Demonoid (pm links appreciated)
Seems X-Men Legacy is going to be renumbered and focus on Legion now as well as he tries to live up to the dream of his father. Still surprised really that Uncanny X-Men has been cancelled when it's been the cornerstone of the X-franchise for 50 something years.
The October and November solicits are already out though and it's not listed on any of them yet.
also Deadpool variant for Uncanny Avengers #1

Just. Awesome.
"worked with Remender before" is the best.
What am I missing that I should be reading?
Just started reading a few months ago, managed to put together all of the below. For the most part I'm only reading stuff from the last ten years or so, so no point recommending anything pre-2000. Basically just looking for anything obvious that has fallen through the cracks!
Spidey on going, parts 2 and 3 of messiah complex (idr what they are called), uncanny xforce, lots of DC. I'm sure a ton more but I'm drawing a blank LOL
Messiah War and Second Coming are the follow ups to Messiah Complex. I would also add Necrosha to that list also which takes place in between War and Coming though doesn't actually tie into them.
Not seeing Avengers: Disassembled on there, Immortal Iron Fist, War of Kings, Realm of Kings, Thanos Imperative, Brubaker's run on Captain America, X-23, Ultimate Spider-Man(I didnt really like the rest of the Ultimates universe until the msot recent series). You can do annihilators/annihilators earthfall for completionist, but they arent great.
X-Force/Uncanny X-Force are good reads.
For DC, pre-new52 there is so much to list. A lot of Batman/Batgirl/etc stuff was really good. All-Star Superman. Wonder Woman was alright at times. Sinestro Corps Wars was good, Blackest Night was ok, still havent gotten around to reading Brightest Day or Flashpoint![]()
New 52 Batman, Batwoman, Wonder Woman, I, Vampire, Earth 2, Swamp Thing, Animal Man, Flash.
Other stuff: American Vampire, Fables, Y: The Last Man, Scott Pilgrim
I'm sure there is a lot more, but that is a good start![]()
In regards to good Superman arcs, like stated above All-Star is probably one of if not the best. Some other gems include; Superman: Brainiac, Red Son, Godfall, Birthright (Read this first, it's like the definitive origin story), The Man for Tomorrow, Earth-One.
I totally agree on All-Star Superman. I admit I'm a hardcore Morrison fan, he is my all time favorite writer ever since Doom Patrol. The story in All-Star Superman I feel is the best depiction of Superman. You really see his humanity shine through his god-like power. The scene where he saves the girl about to commit suicide brings a tear to my eye. Even Mark Waid, the self proclaimed biggest Superman fan called it the best Superman story ever written.
