What you all think about the reveal in Daredevil? Uncanny X-Men took a swift turn into Bendis shit.

I actually picked up UXM this week not for the story, but because I looooove Irving's art, especially when he draws nonhuman stuff.. I loved his art on Xombi from a couple years ago. Haven't read it yet though so can't comment.

I read the Bounce, which was all right. Both of Joe Casey's new image books are interesting enough to keep up with so far.

Other than the last page reveal, I really loved this week's XMen Legacy. It's nice to see them evolving into some fallout from Age of X.

I wished they had just left Red Skull only in Uncanny Avengers, this doesn't seem like the "villainous plan" Remender would have Red Skull running...

Eh It's not too bad. I kinda like the idea of the Red skull using actual logic in his war against mutants. He's not the bad guy because what he's saying about mutantkind is inaccurate. He's the bad guy because he's the damned Red Skull and he isn't doing this out of the "kindness" of his heart. If you've heard of "what if?" comics you already realized before the reveal that the world already HAS been destroyed by mutants millions of times over. It's just due to the nature of the multiverse (and marvel wanting to keep publishing)that there's usually a world where the previous Armageddon didn't work.


The only thing wrong with current Skull is that Marvel might not be self aware that they really have made things get to the point where being afraid mutants will kill us all is a reasonable and logical fear.

I think being afraid of mutants was always a reasonable fear in the Marvel U. The Brotherhood and other groups were always terrorizing the world. With the introduction of Apocalypse, that escalated even more. Now, with AvX and Wanda almost destroying the mutant race(and thus making them more desperate), the fear of mutants is even higher. Red Skull is taking advantage of that for his own gains.

also X-Men 01 was good, even if it used a character from Grant Morrisons way overhyped run.

Still not sure what to think of New Avengers. Loving Captain America but still wanting Dimension Z to be over (btw Remender was on a Comicvine podcast today and was talking the future of both CA and UA and both sound awesome). Digging "Hero QQ" in Wolverine and the X-Men.

I was wondering how the Dimension Z story would wrap up today. What will be the magic potion that de-ages Cap? Obviously everyone is gonna die except Zola and Cap.

New Avengers continues to be amazing. Hickman has filled it with a sense of dread and impending doom. Speaking of doom, enter Doom!

The one thing about DimZ that I have really enjoyed is that I feel it is setting Cap up to fully commit to a future with Sharon (re-read as he's getting on the train to DimZ and the "disappear" portion of this issue and its all really tying together), which also makes me think Sharon will die in the DimZ finale.

So DC continues to baffle. In JLA 4, Catwoman was shot point blank in the head and killed. Don't read the issue, it was really bad. I read it to see if the story was worth anything to garner such a "big" death, it wasn't.
