    Just. Awesome.

"worked with Remender before" is the best.

What am I missing that I should be reading?

Just started reading a few months ago, managed to put together all of the below. For the most part I'm only reading stuff from the last ten years or so, so no point recommending anything pre-2000. Basically just looking for anything obvious that has fallen through the cracks!

Spidey on going, parts 2 and 3 of messiah complex (idr what they are called), uncanny xforce, lots of DC. I'm sure a ton more but I'm drawing a blank LOL

Messiah War and Second Coming are the follow ups to Messiah Complex. I would also add Necrosha to that list also which takes place in between War and Coming though doesn't actually tie into them.

Not seeing Avengers: Disassembled on there, Immortal Iron Fist, War of Kings, Realm of Kings, Thanos Imperative, Brubaker's run on Captain America, X-23, Ultimate Spider-Man(I didnt really like the rest of the Ultimates universe until the msot recent series). You can do annihilators/annihilators earthfall for completionist, but they arent great.
    X-Force/Uncanny X-Force are good reads.
For DC, pre-new52 there is so much to list. A lot of Batman/Batgirl/etc stuff was really good. All-Star Superman. Wonder Woman was alright at times. Sinestro Corps Wars was good, Blackest Night was ok, still havent gotten around to reading Brightest Day or Flashpoint
New 52 Batman, Batwoman, Wonder Woman, I, Vampire, Earth 2, Swamp Thing, Animal Man, Flash.
Other stuff: American Vampire, Fables, Y: The Last Man, Scott Pilgrim

I'm sure there is a lot more, but that is a good start

In regards to good Superman arcs, like stated above All-Star is probably one of if not the best. Some other gems include; Superman: Brainiac, Red Son, Godfall, Birthright (Read this first, it's like the definitive origin story), The Man for Tomorrow, Earth-One.

I totally agree on All-Star Superman. I admit I'm a hardcore Morrison fan, he is my all time favorite writer ever since Doom Patrol. The story in All-Star Superman I feel is the best depiction of Superman. You really see his humanity shine through his god-like power. The scene where he saves the girl about to commit suicide brings a tear to my eye. Even Mark Waid, the self proclaimed biggest Superman fan called it the best Superman story ever written.

I completely agree, it's by far my favorite Superman story for sure.

Edit: I'm not sure how I managed to leave it out, but Kingdom Come is also one of the better ones to read.

I really haven't liked most of Morrison's work, but no one I know ever has anything bad to say about All Star Superman, and they shouldn't. Since you like Morrison, have you
read The Filth? I picked up the first two issues in the cheap bin at my local comic book store and it is just insane. I almost want to track down more of it just to see if it gets any more batshit crazy.

This makes me think you've been reading most of Morrison's new stuff and not really his older stuff. He definitely went downhill over the years, but his early work is pretty stellar for the most part imo.

NYx and science club are good. Planet Hulk doesn't seem to be in there and its by far the best arc in recent times.

Spider-Island was great so pickup that.
    Get Journey into Mystery NOW.
Avengers Academy and Avengers:Initiative was pretty good.

There's a collected book of every issue of The Filth and yes, it gets crazier lol. For recommended must read Morrison you need to read Doom Patrol(starts at issue 19), Animal Man, Arkham Asylum: A Serious House on Serious Earth, WE3, Seaguy, his run on New X-Men, Zenith, Flex Mentallo, The Invisibles and JLA: Earth 2. For his more current stuff, Batman Incorporated is just great, it takes the concept of Batman to it's next logical step, a Batman for every nation. Also, Action Comics has been enjoyable so far.

I think I have some of his Animal Man run, I really gotta check it out since I love the New 52 version so much. I'll try to check some of these out. The good news is that I have a new job and can afford many more comic books, the bad news is that I'm not getting my first paycheck until the end of September lol. But I will definitely keep this stuff in mind.

This is definitely the case. I've only recently gotten into comic books because I loved a lot of the Marvel movies over the years and I had a friend who pointed me towards some good jumping on points for a few series. Then the New 52 happened. And now I'm attempting to catch up on a few decades of awesome reading material

I've read some DC, parts of the new 52 and all star superman plus a bunch of random other bits and pieces, but I'm not enjoying it as much as Marvel at the moment so I'm focusing on that mostly.

So the "big news" coming out of DC is Superman and Wonder Woman are going to be a couple. They are supposed to be drawn together by some major grief/big upset. Rumor I've read is that
    Spoiler: show
they gonna kill off Hal Jordan! OH SHIT DC WHAT ARE YOU SMOKING

About damn time. Kingdom Come aside this will be the first time in the main continuity that it happens. We all know he'll end up with Lois eventually, but let the man have some good rough sex before he gets to her. Also, about the spoiler... seems WAY too early for them to be doing that with any of the characters in the new52. DC, you are making a bad choice here.

Liefeld apparently quit DC today. Maybe he can stick to writing his own terrible nonsense instead of ruining Grifter and Deathstroke now.

So why isn't Jeph Loeb dead yet? In the latest Wolverine he continues in his retcon shittery. It's implied on the last page that Wolverine himself is the originator of the Weapon X program.
