Ta-Nehisi Coates to Write Black Panther Comic for Marvel art by Brian Stelfreeze
I WAS JUST COMING TO POST THAT OMG THA GAWD IS GONNA WRITE COMICS WHAT IS THIS?
Love the variant cover for the first issue they posted in the story.
wrong thread D:
damn man can a player get a new secret wars? im dying here
I thought Hickman's Avengers died off after the intergalactic random ass war, but I just got to a part with Bruce talking with Tony and shit got real again. LovinG this.
Bitch, it never died.
God though, that issue of Tony and Bruce talking is so amazing. An entire issue of two guys just sitting at a table and it's so fucking intense.
X-Men '92 will continue after Secret Wars! http://www.comicvine.com/articles/th...m/1100-153687/

Secret Wars 6 Preview: http://www.comicvine.com/articles/pr...6/1100-153763/
Finally comes out next week. Along with the all new post secret wars marvel universe. And knew there was no way ultimate Reed didn't survive somehow.
I just finished reading Secret Wars 1. Trying hard to get my sources straight to catch up! Shyt got 2 real 2 quick before the first chapter lol
Nice! That's one of the books I'm getting too. TBH, I've probably been getting more books than not from the Secret Wars run.
Anybody look into WeirdWorld? I loved the first issue for it's art style that I'd describe as "primal". The next few left that behind, but it was brought back towards the end. Years of Future Past seemed like a bit of a disappointment. Could be because Days of Future Past is still viewed through rose-tinted glasses.
I'm glad I'm not the only one that was "meh.." through most of the Secret Wars books. First half of Secret Wars: Journals was pretty good. I bypassed anything Spiderverse, MODOK, and Civil War. The original Civil War story was just an exercise of politics, while Wolverine was running around getting shit done.
I'll have to look into their Daredevil run. I'm not the best with remembering names, even though I should with my occasionally working at a comic shop. I know on DC's relaunch, Red Lanterns had great artwork for a good while. Once the artist moved on, people dropped subscriptions. Savage Wolverine had a few good artists too. Never cared for Villalobos (X-Statix, E for Extinction). He always made everybody look old, sick, swollen, or just wrong. Can't say I can do better though.
