Revealed earlier today via short cryptic videos; producer Omar Rodriguez-Lopez has teamed up with long time collaborator Cedric Bixler-Zavala (both men of Mars Volta and At The Drive In fame) on a new project with former Mars Volta drummer Dave Elitch and the legendary Flea on bass. The new band, ANTEMASQUE, has been hunkered down in the studio and Volcom is proud to be able to present a longer look behind-the-scenes of the band recording their debut song, "4AM".

I saw them open for System of a Down as well. I was aware of the name but hadn't heard the music.

I did what I always do and pushed my way to front, when they started I promptly pushed my way out and hit the beer garden but after the initial wtfness of it all wore off I jumped back in. They ended up putting on a great show.

Too bad.

I saw them open too! Back in 05/06? It was pretty great. First time seeing both bands live, and it turned to be the last for both as well... They did give a hell of a show.
