BG is going to take a new approach for setting up the wiki for TERA. Our desire is to have a competent, concise, and easy to use wiki packed with enough information to cater to the hardcore player but setup in a simple format similar to BGs current FFXI wiki.

Our goal is to help instruct players with easy to read explanations as well as links to relevant threads on BG if applicable, clear screenshots, and unique content not ganked from everywhere else on the net like everybody else does.

Currently we will be compensating 3 people to assist in running the primary parts of the wiki. These three people will be responsible for setting up the races and zone information, the quest information and guides, and the dungeon information and guides. Obviously other players will be adding information as well, but the three in charge will be setup in a manner to help direct them to the information properly as well as linking the information together easily.

This will obviously be a challenge, as templates will have to be created, text will have to be customized, and questions will have to be answered to the members who will be helping setup the wiki.

The compensation for the three people who are hired to do this will be BG paying for their standard edition game (paying back retail value) as well as compensating the player for their monthly charge. With this type of setup we ask that only players who will be taking the hardcore route contact us, and by hardcore we mean going to play the game as much as possible, no 1 month and not interested people should consider applying. The initial contract will be for at least 6 months of service to the wiki as well as a considerable amount of work done on the wiki after that six months.

We will be placing, as the staff of BG, a considerable amount of trust in you, thus we will be asking a lot of questions and will be expecting weekly reports as to how the wiki is coming along. We request vigilance to make sure we are not stealing content as well as a watchful eye to those who are stealing content from us so we can notify them of its theft.

This is going to be a crazy adventure, so make sure you are up for it, we will be placing trust in you and request you to be honest and forthcoming with us. If the wiki takes off bigger than we expect, we might be able to offer additional compensation, but we make no promises of its success, only that the users who will want to use it will be the top tier players in endgame content, so they will know if you are giving us shit and trying to paint it pretty.

Questions, comments, and applications can be PMed to Sonomaa on the BG forums.
Obviously experience with wikis and the creation of templates and wiki code is required. Training will not be provided, bring your own weapons, survival not guaranteed.
