No it's not that I don't think that popper shouldn't get airlixers to cover the cost of entry, I just don't think he's entitled to QM them all to himself without telling anyone. We have someone like this on Bismarck, only far worse, Realtruth. like this guy, he will set up farming runs and at the start, QM the airlixers, and pass out all but a few at the end. Which I am cool with since he is buying the pop. However his dick mode goes into overdrive if be sets up an NM run, even outside. He has, on several occasions, set up runs and upon killing the NM, he will tell everyone to pass any or all of the gear of his Claiming it as his for organizing the run. If stuff isn't in his inventory with 10 seconds left, he will break the ally so it all hits the floor.

I was on DRK I think the other person was WAR or something. /DNC is horribad subjob for WAR or DRK (Unless I'm farming Dynamis on DRK), but by no means offers anything beneficial at all. /NIN or /DNC so you don't leech a WHM's MP is so 2005 D:

I think that's Delve? But yeah, pretty terrible if so. I'm usually WHM SCH or BRD for Delve, and I want my melees to be as agressive as possible. Fuck whiny healers.

I was there when he was the victim of a /shouting and /yelling match in Adoulin, and amusingly, one of the people in my Linkshell was participating in the berating. They were talking about his QMing all of the Airlixirs, and how he lied about the amount dropped, and so on.

Coincidentally, I was in Realtruth's latest Alliance at the time. Now, you might assume that I left, but I didn't; I instead waited and watched the /p chat, and learned (despite not being in Adoulin) that he was starting to defend himself in the /shout channels. I was updating my LS in the interim as to the other side of this whole show. He started talking about how all these angry players must be racist Americans, as they didn't like it when he ran his runs like "the Japs," so they must "hate Japs," et cetera. The irony was delicious.

In the end, Realtruth declared that he wouldn't QM Airlixirs again. I've been in several runs with him since, as to me, a PUG is a PUG is a PUG, and he hasn't done it again.

A bigger "Random Fail" than that is you being all fucking smug about you only needing 2 to kill while they take 18 (even tho 16 are just sitting there doing fuck all) because they will have filled a random slot with TH7 most likely, whereas you're stuck with TH2 (assuming SJ Thf on mage).

Unless you don't care about bead drop (why would you bead matamata anyway?) at which point why would you waste time killing it anyway?

TH does nothing you are 100% certain to get 6 items, like Dring. NQ and +1 (presumably) share slots. Who cares about the bead? THEY obviously do.

TH still has an effect on gear/bead, but that is a horrible waste of resources to use more than a few people on that fight. Obviously fine if it was a single kill, but it would be really embarrassing to see a 18man group do 18 kills on that thing. Even if they were bead farming, the T1 bead sells for cheap enough to not be worth farming.

Honestly if they can kill it during the 1st after7thTPmove phase, then it wouldn't be any different from another 2-3 man group taking turns with you.

Either group, 2 or 18 would need at least ~7ish min anyway to kill it.

Now if they weren't willing to take turns with you... then that would be a different story.

No need to be condescending unless they took too long... like many groups I've come across until it came down to me, a few other groups, and RMTs being able to do this consistently.

To be fair, your original post didn't state that they were popping the mob 18 separate times, which admittedly DOES beg the question of why they are doing it. Likely more for Beads than Airlixirs, but maybe their Delve Fracture strat involves killing some other mobs besides the Matamata. <shrug>

JPs on this server seem very hesitant to split up their group at times. They also really like using pops on every char in alli/getting a pop on all 18 characters. A good example that comes to mind is ADL. I used to absolutely hate when the JP group who did ADL at the same time of us needed Bijous because they would bring their entire alli and camp basically every single NM. Obviously, that's another waste of resources but they had a thing for farming 18 ADL pops (or very close to it) before they did ADL as well. They also refuse to do things much differently even when you tell them they're wasting resources like on the 1~5 + Tojil Morimar I did with them where Mata wasn't pulled until Eft/Raptor died. That resulted in a timeout @ 37% on Tojil, which otherwise would've been a win. The second run was more of the same even though I told the leader how much time was wasted on that.

It must be for beads and while buying them if you could get them cheap would be a better alternative, there's some groups that do kill raptor + eft faster than it takes to prep Matamata so it's certainly not *that* bad. Bringing 18 chars is obviously a waste of resources, but that's just how they do things and it makes more sense because all of them have a pop.
