I'm going to hold my vote for next CBT. I think I'll exclusively play on our PVP server to see how it feels. Leaning towards PVP though.
PVE - No GvG, not as much fun as previously thought
PVP - New system, no rouges, not a lot of ganking

I'll vote during the next CBT and see how PvP will hold. GvG looks very attractive and occasional rogue ganking is fairly easy to evade. All from a carebear viewpoint.
I seem to recall PvP in general was pretty toned down with mutual agreement and no downside for dying?
We are doing that during the next one right?
Hopefully they'll have them up. Going to make a sorcerer on the PVP server and see how they handle in PVP. I have this image of guildies wondering around in crews jacking up the competition to assert our dominance in guild PVP. I think this sort of thing can help bring a guild together (if they are decent people).
GvG being pvp only is disappointing. I voted PvE earlier but I'm down to try out a PvP server during CBT. I played a little bit of ragnarok online back in the day and WoE (is that right?) was pretty fun, at least when you had your guild all grouped up and coordinated. If PvP is balanced and no one shots are possible (commonly at least) I think I'd be down to try it out.
Do you think someone with the outlaw status active will have it visibly shown to other players? So you can see it coming?
EDIT: I'm enjoying mystic than any other class in PvE but with PvP I might have more fun as something else. PvP certainly changes the dynamic.
Yes.
Healers aren't as helpless a they used to be.
I don't feel like there's going to be enough PVE content to keep me 100% entertained in this game, so I'm voting for PVP, especially if PVP can lead to gear or additional cash.
Stick to XI if you want to feel "hardcore" without actually having to back it up without fighting someone on an even scale.
Eh, there's no such thing as 'even' in PvP unless you want equal numbers on each side, which there are battlegrounds for. I'd rather see GvG, on PvE server, and have the better of two worlds in one. After all, if a GvG gets thrown down, it doesn't concern the rest of the peeps, who can still go about their biz. Either way, I highly doubt you'll be doing any of that until closer to end game, as the costs are likely to be higher than one would want to pay, at lower levels.
Oh, I'm not saying I don't like PVP. I love PVP. It's just the people who run the most lip are the ones that come from a certain game, and let's face it, at that age, you think anything you do is hardcore.
Quake 1 on dialup. Reporting in.
PvP ftw. PvE content never holds up for long enough.
