When I first downloaded Clipper I abused the fuck out of the 800% movement speed. Often getting locked in zones 2-3 times a day, I was an idiot about it... Oddly enough, that was months ago and nothing ever came of it. In Nyzul I tend to keep it under 25-50%, although a couple I have seen have straight up wall hacked at 100%+ and nothing has happened yet...

Like many have said, maybe the bans will come, but it would also be hard for SE to know who in the group was actually clipping. Unless they just went with the good old 'Guilty by association.'

Yeah kinda like they did with salvage. Wait for years then banhammer everyoen that was in zone. But I mean if they have something in place like that then it would stand to reason they'd know who it was.

this and running at 125% with dusk on are no different as far as a punishable offence standpoint goes.. so if you're going to cheat why not cheat?

this is just how I look at it, I don't know but I assume people getting caught in nyzul for cheating are obnoxious ingame or on gw or somewhere thats made someone mad enough to file a STF or whatever report on the website they give you when you call a gm and tell them someone is fleehacking right infront of you and they have followed up on it

I think the reason some people draw the limit at 125% is because that is feasibly maintainable without cheating so would be very hard for SE to autodetect without catching legit players in the crossfire. Whereas 200% and higher has to be down to cheating for it to be prolonged periods.

Either way, I think at this stage of the game it is very unlikely they'll banhammer people for clipper considering its gone unpunished for so long despite being widely used. That and the fact they also turned a blindeye to blatant fishbotting too. They basically don't give a fuck at this point and I think even if you were caught red handed it wouldn't even be a guaranteed ban nowadays. I mean how long since we heard anything at all from the taskforce? They probably got rid of it and just never mentioned it.

I made a lengthy edit D: but I do know some stupider people who have been physically watched by a GM running faster than they should be and they have received 3day bans.. one person was doing it on the hakuryu cliff in beauc, this person also talks a lot of unnecessary petty shit to people ingame and it was not surprising when he about burst into tears on vent with us one day saying he'd been caught.. further supporting my idea above

What Jem said pretty much. Running around with 125% speed is just a convenience. 200% is blatant disregard for anything and is, in my opinion, ridiculous.

Would say they max you can really truly get away with "easily" is 137, as that's a piece of movement speed gear and an 11 Bolter's Roll or max Swift Shoes charge.

I think you're probably right with that Fondue. There's someone I know who gets GM checked on a daily basis when fishing (sometimes more than once) whilst other people fishing at the same time have never once been checked (and some of them openly admit they are dicks to everyone). They are nice as pie so I can only assume someone holds a grudge for some reason and GM's them daily.

this is getting back to the where is the cheating line, dead mangled horses and stuff.. if only 1 person has been temp banned for cheating in nyzul so far.. I believe someone was angry enough to go to the website and report what they were doing for further investigation, beyond that maybe SE just doesn't care enough.. maybe anyone with 100f gear is being heavily investigated and ANY cheating will be a bannable offence

It's one of those where you personally have to draw the line of how much you are willing to risk. It's going to differ from person to person. Some will say fuck it and go 200%+, some will play it safe and do 125% whilst others won't risk it at all.

if being witness to the death of HNMs on Asura taught me anything... its that sometimes ethugs are srs straight up gangsters irl getting locked up camping fafnir... and people can hold grudges a very very long time over absolutely nothing and because of this I do nothing detectably against the rules [anymore] ;_; leaving the need for lady luck to smile upon our runs lol

Yep. There's still people today who hold grudges against me for various reasons despite the fact that I've always been pretty kosher and always made an attempt to at least be amicable with other LS'es regardless of how cuntish their members were. I've definitely never been purposedly nasty or ill willed towards a non-ls member and always helped people if they asked. If anything the only people I've been a massive twat to are LS members!

I guess it just goes with the territory of having drops or being remotely sucessful whilst being a sack or leader of a group. A lot of the playerbase are immature or straight up tards but you're on Asura, I don't have to tell you that. It's actually refreshing when good players from other LS'es talk to me in tells (like Tam, Iron and Tox for example) as it means they probably don't dislike me!

I have two 19-floor runs recorded now and they awarded different Token amounts, so tokens depend the particular floors (probably # or objective type) you get.

At the moment, something like 65 points per floor + floor(#*.7625) works pretty well, but it's almost certainly not what the actual formula is.

Ideally what do you want recording to figure it out and I'll start recording it from now on.

Well, I would need to know (at a minimum) floor numbers, tokens, -token debuffs, and whether or not that player was the leader. If we end up with cases that contradict each other with only that much information, we'd need more information. It is probably just points based on floor number + number completed though.

There weren't any negative debuffs from gears involved in those runs, and they only ended up 17 tokens apart.
