Well I remember there being a debate over Ganesha's Mask. Some people said it only worked with base attack and others said it worked with gear and/or buffs. So I just wanted to show what it did and did not work with. It does work with STR/attack from gear but only works additively with Last Resort. Sorry, my fist post was a bit misleading

I have capped skill and 8/8 merits. The problem being I can't remember if I did this test with Apoc or Ragna equipped. So either 440 or 433 skill. And of course I can't even remember what sub I had. I want to say Apoc, SAM sub and 106 STR but honestly can't remember. That would add up though

Naked - (8 base + 440 from skill + 72 attack bonus + (106*0.75 from STR)) = 599
Rheic +3 - (8 base + 440 from skill + 72 attack bonus + (120*0.75 from STR)) * 1.04 = 610 * 1.04 = 634

LR Naked - 599 * 1.2461 = 746
(Correct) LR + Rheic - 610 *1.2861 = 784
(Incorrect) LR + Rheic - 634 * 1.2461 = 790



The food test was just to make sure it didn't do something weird like apply food attack and then do the attack +% multiplier after food. Looking at it, that Food + WS gear number looks wrong compared to the others so I think there's a typo in there. I was fairly certain food wouldn't make the attack do more (apart from the added STR) since YCB's were already capping and food should apply after everything else.

Sam/Blm using Apex Arrow outside Bastok on Tunnel Worms, 126 bow, 41 arrow, 44 fstr2
86 agi = 73 wsc

126 + 41 + 44 + 73 = 284 raw dmg * 3 pdif * 3 fTP = 2556 expected dmg (did a control fire, came out exact)

Fired again with Phorcys Korazin and got 2734.

2556 * 1.07 = 2734.92

Rename them with Altanaviewer or whatever. The order they appear in the DAT's is the order they need to be pushed in. So just stick a 1/2/3/4/5 on the end of them.

Also, may be an unpopular opinion but I'm disappointed by how easy 100 drops are to get now. Any decent group is going to be capping out on drops in like 2-6 weeks depending on how much they are willing to cheat.

I mean yeah everyone wants their shit asap but Nyzul was a refreshing change from VW spam. I'd far rather do Nyzul than VW anyway!

Yeah. I have a hard time imagining how a good group wouldn't hit 100 on the vast majority of their runs now. Just had a quick check back of our run history and 10 out of our last 12 runs would have been 100's if fillmode, DAT edits and clipper was used (I'm assuming Clipper would be worth 2-3 extra floors).

Double Embrava should allow a good group to clear ~20 floors without clipper (on the shittest of shittest runs we got 16 clears and that was with 15/16 floors being All or Spec Fam). That's going to give you a decent 100 conversion rate.

5x Lamps same time with avoid gears. Several gears around two lamps making it impossible to even pull without linking nevermind use the lamps.
2 minute time penalty as we try to activate anyway > 10 seconds remaining > timeout.

So Nyzul still has its fuck you button!

For salvage, or other purposes where pulling gears is ok, but aggro/link is not, would a sleepga/breakga or other AoE non-damaging spell count as a clean pull, without aggroing or linking any of them? Assuming you cast from far enough away that you don't get magic aggro. Or, if that's impossible, an AoE BLU non-damaging spell done from outside sound aggro range. Or Horde Lullaby.

Yes, this would work. Get a sch to manifestation-sleep from 20.1-20.9 and won't aggro.

Also, let it be known that a Hydra mob spamming Pyric Bulwark on a Kill All floor is a run killer, especially if it's a large kill all floor like we had. Absolutely ruined us that run as it took ~4 mins to kill evem Embrava'd up. Had to basically Twilight Scythe it down.

EDIT: Frustrating runs for us tonight

99 (Trolled by gears/lamps. Included a 97 > 99 port)
98 (Lots of clears. Shit ports including 3 ports at 92+. Also included a kill all with Charybdis and Anyu-Kaysey on who both hit like trucks.)
83 (Hydra on a massive kill all spamming phys shield)
96 (Our Vere MNK's computer asploded at FL40 which we got to in like 7 mins so were well on track til then)
