Yes, in this page (link) we displayed how the server merges are going to be and if you are OK with that merge you don't have to do anything.

If nothing is done; after 3/27's planned world transfer you will automatically moved to the listed new world.

More clarification about the closing of servers if it's needed at this point:

Firstly, let me apologize for the inconvenience that this has caused. In regards to the situation where multiple Worlds are showing as full, I wanted to let you all know that the population data on Lodestone is not shown in real time, and actually updates a few times throughout the day. Worlds that show as being full now, may not be later in the day. That said, we would ask that you please check back periodically to see whether or not the World you wish to transfer to is open.

LS picked that after looking at the spread of players in NA time, end game shells, etc. Seemed like a good place for us to migrate to. Not sure about everyone else though..

I've been trying for the past 10 minutes to buy a 30 day subscription solely so I can do this world transfer thing, but holy shit their payment site is terrible and buggy, I can't believe people put up with it.

But from what I'm hearing it's not worth it anyway because all the good servers are full?

I think people put up with it because it's kind of a "set it and forget it" kind of thing. I remember hooking mine up and trying to figure out how to setup payments are very counter-intutive.

Don't bother renewing your subscription unless you reallyreallyreally want to move servers and somehow think that SE will raise the maximum characters per server because of all the bitching. I'll admit, with as much as they've caved already, they might, but I can't imagine you'd need to switch servers that badly. If you're not coming back until 2.0, they've already said they intend to allow for server hopping (it will probably cost money, but you already said you were about to spend money to do just that anyway).

I don't recall having a problem with Click & Buy. I even just set up a new account like a week ago. I remember it taking a while and generally sucking, but it didn't seem confusing to the point of inhibiting anything.

I don't give a shit about this server merge though... if I really care to move, I can wait until 2.0/relaunch where most everyone is going to be confused/bewildered/lost/exploring anyhow. It's a better time to be thrown into a new community of players than where everyone already has their Moogle/Ifrit/raid/NM posses and just repeats that crap.

The servers have been open for a few hours tonight. Got all but 2 transfer dudes, and 3 casual members in the guild moved over. Fucking sweet SE!

Paid my $10 and got my transfer, relatively pain-free! Guess I'll get to try out the jobs for a few weeks providing the patch comes out on time.

For people who can't see, Durandal, Gungnir, Sargatanas, Ridill and Lolnarok are still open.
