The goggles! They do nothing!!!!
One of my favorites.
I'll reluctantly check this episode out... Just can't compare to seasons 1-10......
@BWYuko: Totally unrelated, but, is that pic of Uematsu from Oni-Con '11? Carpet looks familiar.
Homer Jay Simpson
i forgot, i love me some lionel hutz
Raging Abe Simpson and His Grumbling Grandson in "The Curse of the Flying Hellfish"
Apparently it was #150, and came right after '22 short films'. In fact just looking through the lineup of season 7 is inspiring.
I'm going through wiki right now to try and find the one with my all time favorite simpsons gag. It's scary how well I remember some of these despite having not seen them in 15+ years.
I mean just from season 1
Predates Family guys' "Family group violence" by years.
Put my mom in the awkward position of explaining what Jacques wanted to do with Marge.
The episode where Bart goes to France and Bleeding gums Murphy and its lion king/Kimba joke 15 years before I'd get it. Also that for a show with as many recurring secondary characters that most of the episodes don't directly cross reference. The movie did, and it was well done.
Actually reading through Season 1 and 2, Marge used to be much more a bad ass. I know what happened, but realizing that kind of makes me sad. Marge used to be an excellent role model, with unspoken principles and the ability to recognize when she had made an error in judgement. Now she just exists as a foil to homer, or a plot thread for 'woman with too much stress'.
Edit: fucking found it, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Summer_of_4_Ft._2.
Homer buys a box of condoms, some alchohol, some dirty magazines and some fireworks at the Kwik-E-mart knock off. When they come home marge looks in the bag, and says "I don't know what you have planned for tonight, but I'm not sure I'm interested". Many scenes later, the next morning shows a very happy looking Marge making breakfast.
Well just like the show asked
I took fresh air and now logging on the internet to say this episode sucked.
Honestly wasn't that bad. but still deceived a bit
Wasn't really expecting them to make a big deal about the 500th episode -- figure they'll pick some random number like the 138th Episode Spectacular.
That said, enjoyed the episode overall~
Want me to spray some Jerk off on your face?
That's the main joke I took away from this episode. Wasn't to great but enjoyable.
LMAO, it's a Geo!
That last frame. Are you referring to the short quick statement before the credits? I didn't catch it. What did it say?
