I will make a Necrosura, a Charrdian & a smallish norn engineer called Budger Blackpowder.

Eh, not really serious about that last one. I'll probably make a human chick for engineer...

Main will most likely be a Human Ranger and first alt will be Charr Warrior. From there I'm not sure yet.

Really need to get my hands on the game to make any final decisions but my main will be one of these (others will be alts): Human Thief, Human Elementalist, Norn Warrior

Gonna make a human, provided their animations aren't too stiff. The "big guy" race in this game isn't "big" enough for me to go there, and there's no obligatory catgirl hottie, so the default rests with the human.

Oh I have no idea which race will go with which of my 2 mains.

I am making 2 Norn, 2 Humans, 2 Sylvari, and 1 Asuran.

This is the first game where Humans appeal to me. Asura first, but I'm looking forward to having some Humans. I will enjoy both male and female options. I like that the males don't have to be brutish.

I'm leaning towards Charr. My only hesitation is over their run animation. It works for them, but until I get behind the wheel it's hard to tell whether or not it will drive me crazy.
Conceptually the Charr are just really fascinating and I love the aesthetic they have going. I'm pretty partial to industrialized nations after spending so much time in Bastok in FFXI, so the video showing off the Black Citadel(I think that's what it was called) really just sealed the deal for me. That and I just don't feel like being a human like I am in every other game ever. Charr are different enough from the other humanoids, without being offputting the way their archetype is in a lot of other games.

Still very torn on what race to play. I think its gonna be an asura though. Their main city looks the best to me.
