BG Community Guild

This is for discussion on a BG community guild. In other threads it was discussed that people were possibly interested in a community for BG members only, while others were interested in separate communities. With the multiple guild support in gw2 however, there's no reason we can't have both. What do you want to see? Do you want to see a BG community guild on the side for BG forum members exclusively? If alliances are possible do you want to see a BG alliance between the separate communities? Discuss anything regarding these things here.

Also please excuse typos as I'm currently on a treadmill at the gym. >.<

If alliances are possible I really like the idea of a BG alliance. If not I'd like to have a BG guild, if they still have guild islands we can have that bitchin shiny one.

BG Alliance would be nifty. Do we know what is the member limit when making a guild? How is the interface/options for creating a guild, is it the usual standard stuff or can we create alliances with multiple guilds and keep tabs on that? Not sure if this has been explained before in depth in an interview or shown in a video.

My wife and I would love to join a BG guild. We never really had a guild to follow in games, and I'm always interested in playing with people who know how the fuck to play. My wife is set in her Warrior ways, and I'm most likely going to be an Engineer or Thief. Although, Necromancer and Elementalist are getting my attention. So add two to the roster.

Sounds good. It seems for WvW the BG guild would definitely need to to coordinate with other guilds in order to accomplish objectives. But we're definitely all for having a guild to team up with for instances and other things.

With the launch date looming in a few weeks.have they released the server names yet?

They have not released official server names yet, I expect most of the bw3 servers to be there. As for guild sizes, they are upgradable for a price up to as much as 500 members, starting at 50.

Guilds are account bound and server free. The ONLY thing in GW2 you can not do if you are not on the same home server is WvW. If you want to join in the BG Community, you can do it from any server no matter the country. If you want to play with some BG people that aren't on your home server, you can use the guest system. If all you want to do is communicate, Guild chat is cross server.

well WvW is what I'm currently most interested in. guess I'll just hang out in the chat and look for some WvW guild on EU/german servers.
