    60-70 Skill up paths

Hey fellow crafters, I am looking forward to hitting the 60>70 craft skill ups this weekend. Have any of you pathed out decent synths for the various crafts for 60-70? I will post the paths I take once I have time to look into them this weekend. it would be handy to have the 60-70 paths for all crafts in this OP as a quick reference.

Colored Eggs are still cheap as ever for 60-68 cooking. Trying to figure out the best way for the last 2 levels.

    Alchemy:
61 venom dust (camp CN mushussu, 5 min repop, 2 scorp claws per kill)
61 Venom Dust (if you want to deal with fishing, otherwise)
66 Hangar (NPC's for 10k, so its a pretty small loss, depending on cost of cermet/gold ingots)
    68 Venom Potion
68 Cermet Sword (npc for 10k again, so should be a small loss once again, depending on cost of mats)
70 Saber (for some reason, despite using more cermet, it NPC's for the same price)
71 Rainbow Powder (if you can get your hands on some wamoura scales...should wind up being break even)

    Bone
    63 Demon Arrowheads
68 Bone Patas (DO NOT THROW THESE OUT OR SELL THEM USE THEM TO GET GOLD TO 67 AT THE SAME TIME)
    69 Beast Horn
    70 Demon Ring

    Cloth
    62 Green Ribbon
    64 White Cape (maybe)
69 Platinum Silk (Do gold to 63 first on ingots)
70 Verm Cloak (LIKE A BAWS)
    72 Black Choco Fletching

    Cooking
    61 Stone Cheese
    66 Colored Egg
    68 Colored Egg again
    70 Sandy Tea
    72 Pear au Lait

    Fishing
    anything over 70?

    Goldsmithing
63 Platinum Ingot (use these for plat silk for cloth)
67 Hydro Patas (you did bone first right?)
69 Mailbreaker (this is what I did, it hurt)
70 Plat ring (I didnt do this personally, but you're stopping at 70)
73 Moonring Blade (I jumped right to this for my gold char, you can sell the blades for decent value when it pops as a GP item)

    Leather
    61 Tiger Leather
    62 Hard Leather Ring
66 Sheep Chammy (sells for profit on AH if you can get Clot Plasma)
    67 White Mouton
    69 Beak Jerkin
    71 Lynx/Coeurl Leather

    Smithing
    62 Darksteel Heads
    66 Nodowa
    70 Hien

    Wood
    61 Chest
    65 Taru Fishing Rod
69 Demon Arrow (do bone63 (demon heads) and cloth70 (black fletchings) first)
    72 Ancient Lumber

I'd do demon arrows 64-69. I haven't done the numbers but I bet they're (still) profitable. If you do clothcraft to 70 first, you'll even have a bunch of black chocobo fletchings to use. Even if the money on them isn't good I'd probably just end up shooting them since I'm on rng most of the time.

I wont lie, I was kinda rushing the last 3 without any thought process about associating to other crafts. I dont think you'll really find anything profitable to synth these days...and I'm hard pressed to believe anyone who says "hey I lvled XXX from 0 - 100 and I made 10 million gil PLing the shit out of it"

Darksteel Bolt Heads from Smithing can be used for getting Woodworking to 62 on Darksteel Bolts.

P.S. This is a good time to do Colored Eggs since people actually want them for the Egg Hunt event. Throw them on a mule next to a Moogle NPC to help fund your synths.

Another option for smithing is the gear used for cursed WW gear (haidate, zunari kabuto) if anyone still buys them on your server.

Zunari Kabuto is 76 iirc, but yeah. I would buy them if someone was making them!

For Alchemy 61-67 i've been doing Sleep Bolt Heads, relatively cheap/easy imo plus i had spare sleeping potions from 50-60 climb so worked for me; does depend on animal glue so can be hard to spam craft, also requires 14 smithing. For 67-70 i'm planning on doing Spartan Bullets since it seems relatively cheap to make and can get all the mats from npcs/self crafting, also requires smithing 13.

I started doing venom potions when I was 61, can probably do it at 60 also, just make sure its lightsday and you have adv synth support until you're 63.
Also you can buy the venom dust from a gobbie in the low jeuno shop for about 1k each, it's a pretty cheap synth to powerlevel through

if you do black choco fletchings, get your feathers from the chocobo stable NPC vendor of the nation who is first in conquest. I don't remember, you may have to be a citizen of that nation to get them. If you have to be and you aren't, find a friend. they are INSANELY cheaper.

You do have to be a citizen of the nation in first place, and they are about 1,125 - 1,375 each.

Clothcraft path seems like Apkallu Fletchings > Black Chocobo Fletchings.

Apkallu feathers available on Slyph cause of RMT leech parties EVERY NIGHT.

    Regarding Alchemy:
If you have Fishing leveled you might want to consider fishing up your own Three-Eyed Fish in Qufim and desynth them into Paralysis Dust. I capped the last stretch from 66-70 fairly quickly doing so.

You know what, I didn't think of this because when I did this range, Abyssea didn't exist.

Colored eggs>colored eggs>san doria tea is definitely a smooth path for cooking 60-70

60-62 cloth using gnat wings is also easy, it took me 30ish minutes to farm enough gnat wings for 60-61.9 cloth since none were on the AH

Where did you farm gnat wings? I was considering doing that except I was going to buy off AH ... turns out they're rarely on AH
