lol who for a second thought Steiner was coming out?
In all seriousness though, they may be giving Axel victories, but they're both countouts so I dunno what to make of this yet.

I would mark out if Steiner was there.
At least the Wyatt family is finally on the way in. Could be a good feud for Team Hell No prior to breaking them up.
FUCKING YES
bout time.
Why did they change the one thing everyone loved about Curt Axel? Also I'd rather see Punk vs Jericho for no reason than most of the matches of the PPV card any day of the week. Especially in Chicago.
Mr. P's remixed theme is still there. It just seems like either we didn't get to hear the beginning on last week's RAW, or they added that odd beginning (is that a damn commercial airplane flying past in the beginning of it?!) for this week's. Either way, Perfect's theme remix is still the meat of the song. It just takes longer to hear it.
I doubt there is a single person out there who likes what he used this monday better than what he used last monday aside from whoever was in charge of picking his music. The other version was just so good maybe they are saving it for an eventual face turn. Even if it ends up taking 6 years.
Oh I absolutely agree. My friend and I just kind of looked at each other at the same time and asked "Wait, did they change it already?!" and at first I thought they completely dumped Mr. Perfect's theme altogether. Either way, I really do agree. The intro portion just effing destroys this newer version, I mean wtf is that...?
If you go back to the one from the previous week and listen in, there is no different intro... what they actually did was just cut out Mr Perfect's portion out of it, and only left the background music playing, and that is what we hear. It was supposed to serve as backup to the actual Mr P remix though, not stand out like that... it's really weird.
If you listen to it long enough the remix does come into the song though. I just don't understand why they felt like they had to tweak it in the first place.
Also, am I the only one who thinks Punk's return is very anti-climatic and way too soon? I was expecting him to show up somewhere eventually and do something completely out of the blue, not be announced 3 weeks in advance by Heyman to compete in a PPV, as a heel, in his hometown (where we know he'll get cheered to hell and back). Did Extreme Rules tank that badly at the box office that they feel the need to call Punk back this fast?

Spoiler: show
Exactly this. I was really hoping for an unexpected surprise sort of like when he "walked out" a couple years ago and came back. Announcing it weeks in advance and already having a match set up is kinda dull.
I wonder if storyline wise he is going to be pissed at Heyman for setting that match up. Maybe he'll even no show.
I can see him not showing up for the event as part of the storyline. There have been rumors that Summerslam will be Punk vs. Brock so something would have to happen there sooner or later.
So the Wyatt family, is that supposed to be a redneck version almost of Raven's Flock? Promo was awesome
Also in relation to the SD spoilersSpoiler: show
Raven's Flock mixed with Cape Fear/Waylon Mercy at least in the case of Bray himself. Youtube him when you get the chance. He's come a long way since he was Husky Harris on NXT.
I can see them playing that angle though, saying Punk doesn't agree to show... Leading to a Y2J vs Axel match.
Then Punk comes through the crowd and gets involved in the match (one way or the other... either for or against Heyman). This would be a much better way to handle this than to actually go through with this match, because it's too anti climatic for his return.
And this is just when I was starting to miss him, too. What a shame.
Just realized Bray Wyatt is Husky Harris. A lot less excited now![]()
And Ryback was Skip Sheffield, and Fandango was Johnny Curtis.
They spend time back in developmental, get on NXT and eventually get called up, sometimes with a new name/gimmick. Bray Wyatt's quite the interesting character, I hope this inevitably leads to a Wyatt Family/Shield feud(either turn em face or make em tweener, hell theyre already getting pops).
Are we finally gonna see some sort of DB push? The ending of SD keeps me hopeful.
