Yeah, I think the Shield is great, and when they were introduced, and for the last few pay per views it's worked. But they really do need to start putting some individual focus on them, there's only so many times that they can do a run in to set up a 6 man tag match.
Since I know no one watches Main Event...
Love that Cesaro

I watch Main Event on Hulu Plus because nobody knows wtf Ion Television is or anyone that carries it. I actually enjoy Main Event more because you are guaranteed two good matches, and a recap of only the main points you need to know from Raw and Smackdown. Plus, Main Event has the best intro of any of the WWE shows today.
I believe the thing I like most about it, to quote a Youtube commenter, is that it ends with CM Punk's smug face instead of Cena's retarded salute.
I love the longer matches that you are guaranteed on Main Event. Some are hit or miss, but even when it is a match between people I don't really like, they usually still put out a hell of a match.
You need to breeeeeeeathe in the A's!
God what a terrible character...
I haven't really been impressed with what Shield has "done" on the story level, either. Okay, so they've played role of mercs, acting only for Heyman at present. They've gotten involved in some matches and cost some wins. Yawn. They're not really trying to "change" anything, even if clinging to that flimsy justice angle I haven't seen them mention since Punk had the belt. Compared to early NWO, they're pretty much kiddy gloves right now with no actual threatening, political presence in the plot.
Storywise I'd agree, there's not much meat there. It's just 3 guys doing run ins and then having 6 man tag matches at pay per views. But those matches have been the best on the show for the most part. They've got three very talented guys there, I've honestly been most impressed with Roman Reigns, but that's likely more because I knew nothing about him going into it. Once they get some individual attention on them they'll really start to shine, unfortunately Reigns isn't so great on the mic, nor is Rollins for that matter, but Ambrose is incredible on it. I think keeping them in the stable too much longer is only going to hurt all three of them.
At that point it was dead and buried, and they tried to revive something
The Shield is the best thing the WWE has going right now.
For what its worth, when I was at a house show in January and The Shield did their entrance through the crowd, the place went bananas for them.
Oh I agree, the Shield is the best thing they have going. They've done fantastically with them, but that says more about the rest of the rest of their product than it does about the Shield I think. It started out really strong, and still is for the most part, but it's not going to be able to sustain itself much longer.
Havent seen Smackdown in a while. Wtf is with all the Raw flashbacks? This is the 3rd time they've done a "Still to come tonight" for something that happened on Raw.
This guy supposed to be the Val Venus or something lmao!?
nWo in wcw was the top faction at the time, even above DX. But wcw tried to milk the shit out of it, they milked it so hard blood came out, but they kept milking it till they literally killed it. It was no longer popular, it became a joke.
When WWE tried to breathe life into their own nWo, it was too late, it had nothing, coupled by a couple injury issues to top it off.
You can not compare WWEs nWo to the shield, sorry.
So they revealed D'Lo as the spokesperson on Thursday. I'm sorry but Aces N' Eights really need to unveil this higher power faster because they are just a group of midcarders right now.
TNA is milking the shit out of something way too long?!? Not surprised here
