    At the stage of the current game is it worth playing? Is it worth a new player joining?

    My only experience with FFXIV was in the very begining at a friends house, when the game was pretty terrible.

    All the improvments that trickle in have peaked my interest again. At its current state, is it worth me going out and buying the game? Or would it be better to wait to see what 2.0 has to offer?
