    Think it was supposed to come out with jobs, but it seems to be forgotten by the community and whatnot. Haven't heard anything about regiments in months.

    I'll link a source tomorrow if I find it, but unless I remember wrong, Yoshida specifically said the combo system wasn't the regimen replacement.

    In the absence of a direct statement to the contrary, it seems unlikely that 2.0 would have two separate skillchain mechanics.

    My understanding was that combos were to replace regimens as the skillchain system for this game.

    How are the two systems similar? Skillchains are clearly party-based (you combine your skills with your party members's) while combos are not (you combine your own skills). Even if I was wrong and you were right, it doesn't change the fact that the combo system leaves a lot to be desired when it comes to the flow of battle (especially solo) for a lot of people.

    We wanted to give everyone an update on battle regimens; once we have finalized the battle fixes and implemented jobs in patch 1.21, we will move forward with our plans to re-implement an optimized battle regimen system to go along with the battle system. Since combos have just recently been added, we will also be looking into the possibility of changing the battle regimen system.

    Due to this, we are unable to provide any additional information or an implementation date, but we will be sure to let you know of any other information that comes our way.

    God Dammit fine I reactivated! Haven't played since Jan so I'm sure there is stuff to do.

    Edit: Does anyone know what the Reset option does when you are looking at character options? I had 2 cancelled characters, reactivated one and the other was just an empty slot named character. It has the option reset but it doesn't do anything.

    I think it's a bug or something. I had 2 mules during the free peroid, erased them, unsubscribed, then when I resubscibed I still have those on my character selection.

    Ok, this is probably just silly, but I noticed how the game's logo is designed on the Legacy Campaign page.

    Basically, the " X " and " V " are different in size than the middle " I ". They are also quite close, with the " I " in between.
    From a graphic stand point, this is pretty weird (it really emphatises the X and V) and makes we wonder if XIV 2.0 may be renamed XV for marketing sake.

    It won't, that'd really crazy to wasted another number in case of a total flop 2.0

    They'll probably call it XIV 2 so that people know it's a new game while still being based on XIV.

    Anyone else see the irony of XIV's Codename and the going's on of the game atm? Would be a nice touch to use that if they rename it, although I don't see them dropping FFXIV. Final Fantasy XIV - Rapture

    The reason I said my last comment is because Siliconera did a small article on SE trademarking "A Realm Reborn" and it was most likely going to be used for FFXIV2.0.
