Not the same thing, but on one BoL run this weekend as archer the boss jumped at me and pinned me against a wall and since archer doesn't have roll through moves I could only stand there and accept the rape.

Should have been able to use Charging Lunge to get out, ya? I've done that on before when I've become pinned.

I don't think I'll ever get to play this damn game. Between the checksum errors, ffffffffffff errors and the play button not working. I'm forever in a loop of uninstal > reinstall > borked still > uninstall > reinstall. Oh, left it patching over-night. wake up 8 hours later and it's still at 47%. p2p is off. It's like if you leave it alone it goes in hibernation

What's your comp specs and what sort of Internet do you have? And yeah if you have a screensaver/powermode I've noticed it will pause download.

I ran the diagnostics tool and it's above the recommended specs and my internet is okay. I checked my powermode and it was on after 3 hours so that probably did it. blagh =/

I would be able to play the game and then when I log out the play button just doesn't restart the game, that's where I get to now. I'm gunna try some suggestions that I got from the EU forums... sooooo we'll see. wish the launcher was like WoW and you could force it into the game and then input your account info there

I noticed it doing shit like this when I installed. If I let it run in the background and check an hour later its down to like 200k/s and closing/reopening went back up to 2m/s.

Haven't seen anything about sub issues for the free month, just the sub issues not letting people play period.

I think the main site said there were some issues? Before I entered my CE code my sub "expired" on May 4, but as soon as I entered it the page refreshed to June 4th. Maybe check to be sure it says june not may or if you have time do a quick online service call and ask.

My subscription was billed immediately - where's my 30 day free trial?

We are seeing customers being billed immediately when they purchase their subscription. It appears to be customers who purchased physical copies of TERA and are buying their subscription before receiving and entering their game code to their account.



We are working on this, and will update this FAQ as we learn more.

I haven't sub'd yet but it still addresses the 30 free days, so it seems they're working on it.

It's a stupid complaint really, but whenever you talk to a npc that has a window popup like merchants/bank/broker when you click the button on their chat page that opens their interface and the chat/quest part closes they speak their 'goodbye' line even though you are still working with them.

i dunno that it's horrible, but it's definitely simple (especially compared to FF's bullshit quests): most of them are fetch/carry/killX, and all of the requirements + the locations of mobs and NPC's are trackable on your map and clicking thier name in the description.

Exactly, like every single other MMORPG out there. And don't give me that bullcrap SWTORs was better, just because you get a 5 min cutscene why you should kill X or get X or destroy X doesn't make it better. (Last part not directed to the person I quoted).

lol? Uninspiring kill/fetch/escort quests aren't very fun at all. The story quests are hardly any better and I haven't been impressed at all with the cut scenes.

Do you honestly read quests about why some npc wants X mobs destoryed? Who cares? I don't find it engaging in the least. All I do is click as fast as possible to accept quests at the quest hub, then run around the map killing stuff with ! on their head. When I see the horribly low xp quest after turning in a few, it means it's time to move on to the next hub.

I find the gameplay itself fun as hell and doing stuff with my guild is a blast. But the hub to hub quest leveing mechanism is absolutely horrible and dated. Do you really need this explained?

At level 42 now and starting to see re-skinned mobs quite a bit now. One thing I really like about this game are the mobs and their design, so I hope they don't continue to recycle/reskin mobs as the levels continue to rise.
