Ascalonian Catacombs does a great job of making a thief feel super squishy. We could really use a passive regen signet or something.

And that, I believe, is that. Stupid hour long giant moa hunt... but it looked like a great stress test!

That event drived me absolutely freaking insane. was trying to test out an elementalist and kept getting destroyed by level 8 champion fucking pigs. Couldn't do shit. Q_Q

Wish there woulda been a point to that hunt em all down or something.... endless respawn was kinda lame. Oh well another weekend down and tons of fun had. Ele was more fun than I thought it be, maybe an alt in the making.

It was a stress test, and giants spawned when you hit 200,000.

Fun little anecdote:

Me and my friend pooled our money and bought 2 siege golems towards the end of the night (mostly from the fantastic ability to turn gems into gold), and set them up near a supply camp to get them both up ASAP, and then walked them all the way to a nearby Keep (an actual Keep not a guard tower or outpost). Took out the first gate with moderate damage. Took out the second gate with one of us dying once, but you can get back into the siege golem, it just starts with lower health. We took the Keep Lord Champion down to 45% health before his minions respawned and he started healing himself.

If we had had another golem or like 2 players taking care of the npcs at the gates we could have taken the Keep. There was no player resistance for this.

While the above scenario might not be able to happen often upon release, it is certainly possible for a small group of 4-5 to take a Keep under the right circumstances. We definitely could have taken an Outpost or probably even 2 Guard Towers. We had a fucking blast doing it though.
