My thf tp set is this. Aluh jambiya / TK / raider's rang
AF3+2 / Nefarious / brutal / suppa
Mirki W. with crit rate3 DA2 / Dusk+1 / epona's / rajas
Rancorous / twilight / AF3+2 / ballerines

I set it up for crits outside since i don't abyssea really now. I want to keep with the crit rate if possible. If there's other set ups that produce more DOT please help me out on what i need to replace or work towards. Would like to push thf to max dps over just being a th whore. Thanks in advance.

Replace the mirke with raiders +2, replace dusk with raiders +2, replace ballerines with Assassin's +2, stop dpsing in thf knife.

Your suggestions leave him with 23% Haste, I think. Typically people use hands or feet slot for a non-Haste on THF, but not both.

I have dex merits, which may account for a difference in effectiveness, but I'm currently running:

Twash/StrThok/Raiders
Raiders+2/Agasayas/supa/brutal
Raiders+2/Raiders+2/Rajas/Epona's
Atheling/Twilight/Raiders+2/Assassin's+2

As far as I know the neck and back are the only places I could potentially improve here without Nyzul 100 gear / Hexed gear / Ocelo+1 and Toci's combo.

When I originally made this set I was debating brego gloves or euru's ledelsens over the raiders/assassin's but i couldn't come up with a combination to beat that using motenten's sheets. I'll have to compare again since they have been updated since then.

As long as I'm getting 23% from raiders hat body legs and the twilight belt, I can't find anything better to put in the hands and feet than raiders/assassin's +2 without using nyzul 100 gear. Thaumas body seems to be THE piece to go for first if those are available to you, as that works well as a raiders+2 replacement without needing a set bonus to make it work. Please point out any bullshit you may see.

well i offhand twilight when not placing th, it just happened to be equipped when i posted what i had on. is the bonus from af3 set that incredible that you use so many peices of it

It's not so much the bonus as it is the other things on the pieces. The hat has haste and 3% triple attack, the body is a good haste body and has 7 dagger skill, the legs have haste and crit rate, and the hands have a stupid amount of attack.

i have them all, just never really use body cause of how i wanted to build my tp set. and just recently got athos's boots and wanted to see about fitting them in some how. if i ditch mirke then i shouldn't worry about any other crit slot gear and just stick to da / ta then? rep neck for ltorque and rancourous for athelings?

Nefarious + rancorous beat love torque + atheling. Athos can (but not always) beat assassin's +2 depending on other factors (and other pieces you may be using).

I'm not a THF, but personally, I'd replace Mirke/Raiders +2 with Thaumas Coat. Maybe also use Thaumas or Brego Gloves to make up the rest of the haste? Also, how would Oneiros Ring do compared to Rajas? I've seen some people rocking epona's/oneiros together.

haven't beatin a floor 100 yet, and the ring requires a form of refresh iirc.

if that is what everyone seems to think is best as far as maxing out dmg i can do that without having to work on anything at all. aside from neo gear for further upgrading.

Thaumas coat wins for sure, but obtaining it isn't exactly something you can just go do on a whim.

Oneiros doesn't seem worth it for thf. It can win barely when the latent is up (less than 1 dps using my set above), but it loses by a larger margin when it's down.

I got Nef/Rancorous beating Rancor/Atheling in the spreadsheet for pretty much all circumstances.

And the best Thf TP sets currently don't cap haste iirc. (assuming Nef/Suppa/Brutal/Epona/Rajas/Rancorous/Twilight in other slots) I think it's (head/body/hands/legs/feet)

Edit: actually it loses when you start adding in more haste. For shits and giggles compare them under embrava with YCB's and dex merits. The difference is way more pronounced than you'd think.

I had Oce+1/Toci losing to Af3+2/Af3+2 both as /Dnc on fodder and as /War on NMs. Mind you, the difference in DPS difference was the same as the difference in adding about 5 attack to my TP set, if that.

My stance on it has always been they're basically equal. I'm sure one pulls ahead of the other just based on the mob etc etc.

Atheling, I use TP bonus moonshade (reduces attack penalty by an unknown amount and has +attack anyway), I think Aquasoul beats Aqua rings. Ruach Crown if you can find one, Praeco Doublet works for Body.

Oneiros Sash vs Witch Sash for RDM? Assuming not the best gear (0 pieces of neonyzul equipment). Which would perform better for nuking?
