I don't watch them because most dubs now a days are generally good. Also I don't speak or understand Japanese, but with that said I don't find them distracting. I have watched many a overseas program with subs just fine and I'm a rather slow reader. Just most of the time I would rather not have to do the extra leg work. Also for as much as everyone in the master race says that some of the English voices are grating, I find some Japanese VA's to be just as bad if not worse.

I'm generally indifferent to either at this point. Of course, I can't tell if a JP dub is bad or not since I can't speak the language, either.
However, aside from simply supporting translated stuff by watching it on AS or Netflix, there are instances where having to read can detach from the artwork or fast-paced settings. This can be even more damning if you miss a subtle visual clue for something. Still, it's dumb seeing the "master race" think we're still back in the 80s or something.
