In case anyone was wondering, Chihayafuru is still the best non-action or sci-fi anime ever made.

So awesome! Was not expecting to find it online today and the episode did not disappoint. I could be wrong as I haven't seen any first season episodes in a while, but the animation quality looks to be better too

Haven't read the manga because I love the VAs on this show so much so I don't know anything about it outside of the anime. I hope they don't use her to make this season all "relationship-y" the reason why this was so good for the first season is because the whole love triangle was subtle. I am very glad it's back for a second season though!

Of course they are gonna focus on the new people early on, both episodes so far have been good imo. The new girl is kinda lame for chasing boys(now focused on Mashima) but it's doubtful the entire season is going to focus on her alone.

Episode 3: Right back to the good stuff that made the series fantastic in season 1. Awesome episode with the focus purely on the game again. Dat 2 perfect wins from the Ace and dat foreshadowing at the very end, so gewd
