Not sure why people are bitching about map randomization. One, that's happened in pretty much every multiplayer Diablo. Two, it's basically the surest way to make people take longer when they start farming mobs. Three, how would you propose the map get drawn in a multiplayer game when 2+ people have their own?

A little late, but whoever's map they are playing on would be the one to use. If player B joined my game, we could use my map etc. I think the problem is just that when you resume a game you were just in like 30 seconds ago the maps are completely redone. It's totally cool if they redo the maps everytime you start a new game, but doing it on a game that you already have in progress is just ugh.

I would guess its done to reset the random encounters/events.

I hate Elder Scrolls. I like Diablo 3, but I was "complaining" in the "complaint" thread about some aspects or directions they went with it. Yes, I realize many people enjoy them. I will still be playing a year from now, most likely ^^/

Apparently the Auction House can only handle 46 pages of search results.

When I search for weapons and then sort by the buyout price, I can either get all results with "N/A" as the buyout value, or start with the most expensive buyout prices and work my way down to 25k.

Pretty frustrating.

I guess I'll just search level by level. Doesn't seem like it should be this onerous.

4) 4 acts in normal is like 10+ hours of playtime. And that's 1 of the 4 difficulties. Just because it's only divided 4 ways doesn't mean it isn't an assload of content.

If you focus solely on the story content sure, I played last night after work and spend 6 hours just clearing act 1 cause I kept saying "I wonder what's over here." ended up finishing the act after playing 2 / 5(?) mini events that were in that act alone and had a lot of fun exploring every bit of the act before progressing.

You can set a max buyout price to search from. Bottom left, i believe

Yeah I was able to join games after the first shutdown message, guessing they are shutting down all the servers and then restarting with some new version of something they want to push out. What a terrible release strategy.

I saw the message, logged out, waited like 5 minutes and went back online, played another 5 minutes and a new message popped up. Blizzard business as usual, but they don't make a good argument for online required

1. Biggest complaint of all - it doesn't even look like Diablo. It looks like a kids game......this is a fucking shame. I feel like they took D2 and threw a "WoW palette" brush over it....ugh..
