Ive been using this: http://us.battle.net/d3/en/calculato...VQT!aYT!aZZbaZ also cleared all of act 1 inferno rather easily.
I had some trouble with Diablo the first couple times, but I eventually got him with this build (on normal).

I was stunning and slowing him so badly I used smoke screen just 3 times during the fight. Wonder if it'll work in nightmare, hell and inferno though.
this is my witch doctor http://us.battle.net/d3/en/calculato...ViT!ZdW!bYbZZZ
Once I hit nightmare mode mana became an issue so I'm messing around with the spiders. It seems to be doing well so far b/c I like to open with grasp of the dead, throw down some vomit buckets (acid cloud).

Basically, can be stealthed forever if needed. Sub Rain of Vengeance for whatever is good for clearing whatever area you're in. Often, I can just stand right in front of the boss and shoot him in the face till hes dead (Inferno). Stack critz, use hand crosshow and ASPD; gg.
I just cleared SK in Nightmare on my lvl 35 wizard, and could use some help on my build. Currently rolling with this:
http://us.battle.net/d3/en/calculato...lQX!YXb!ZbZaZa
trash mobs die easily, and most blues I can work through with kiting/porting. But I just had a run in with a nasty group of blue scavengers and it's making me feel like I need to reconsider redoing my build.
I feel like I can ditch slow time. Needing to run into a pack of mobs to slow them feels contrary to the idea of keeping as far away from mobs as possible. I'm a big fan of arcane orb because it's a great way to soften up a large group of mobs and then finish them off with disintegrate.
Thoughts?
Lvl35 on NM o.O. Oh man I'm so slow; level 30 and about to kill azmo in normal :=
Haven't done too much in NM, but normal Diablo leveled me.......to 30. Didn't rush or anything, I was just 29 when I got to Diablo. Somehow I expected act 4 to be longer but whatever, I still enjoyed it. Only boss that gave me any trouble was Belial, no issues otherwise. This was on my Barbarian.

This is my new wizard build. Really enjoying it. Makes kiting easy, with teleport and diamond skin to get out of hairy situations, and does good damage. I'm considering dropping evocation for cold blooded, since enemies are always going to be chilled/frozen, the damage boost would get them to die faster and less need to worry about cool downs.
Current monk inferno build, soloed up to skeleton king so far:
http://us.battle.net/d3/en/calculato...XTh!XdZ!ZcaZba
Still trying to find a balance between health and damage, sitting at 48k HP / 11k DPS / 50% Dodge / 55% Damage reduction
Not sure whether I like the extra 10% dodge or just straight healing from the mantra. I've been able to take out most champion packs so far, though the packs of hard hitting physical mobs still give me a bit of trouble - every extra dodge I can get in those situations can really be a life-saver.
Only one I just had to skip so far was a group of 3 arcane enchanted / frozen umber hulks....those things just hit way too hard and even if I push my dodge to 60%, I can't seem to survive long enough to get decent damage in while navigating all the crap they put on screen.
I use a really similar Monk build as you, pretty much everything is the exact same except the Serenity one, which I don't think I can use that run since I am only 53. If I can I will switch to that one though. Anyways, I am wondering what your gear looks like. I'm near the end of Act 1 on Hell, Lv.53, not having too much trouble but some champion packs just wreck my shit so hard. My survivability is really going down a lot, like a lot a lot. I understand I want to be stacking DEX and VIT as much as I can, but are there any other stats I should be looking for in my armor? I'd like to show you what I have equipped but I'm not sure how since I don't know how to screen cap on this mac (can I even, without a program?). Any help would be appreciated thank you.
Nothing special, I just got to Inferno at the end of the day. About to go to bed, so I haven't really had the chance to farm for any super great gear yet. Mostly just built a ghetto survival build from misc AH blues on top of the set I had on during Hell; used to have just shy of 1300 DEX and 25k HP. That got me killed real fast in inferno, so I took swapped out enough DEX for VIT to bring me up to 48k HP. I do a lot less damage now, but at least I can stay alive long enough to kill most things.
Only stats that seem to matter to me so far are VIT, DEX, attack speed and Weapon DPS. I've toyed around with all sorts of things, like resistances, life steal, life on hit, etc. Haven't really gotten anything great out of any of em. The only other stat I watch out for is gold find (running a set at ~180% now), for gold farming runs, but that's a separate gear set (and it can't really survive in inferno).
Spoiler: show
Attack Speed. Single Hand Crossbow with Quiver. This build is ideal for solo play, I wouldn't recommend it for group play. I use a totally different setup for group play. Also, can change Sharpshooter to something else if your crit rate is high enough, maybe Perfection?
What would you recommend for group play? Having a lot of fun with your setup currently.
I'm only a lv24 wizard, but I've been having fun with a spectral blades melee wizard build. Still feels a little squishy even with a shield, but it can handle most groups pretty well - except for the times that I get jumped by multiple packs of elites, then I just don't have the defensive cooldowns to survive all that damage.
this is the build so far: http://us.battle.net/d3/en/calculato...Ydfh!aX!aaaaaa
haven't been reading much at all about what builds are preferred, but I doubt there is one in Normal (I'm only just getting to the end of actII). just working on something that can take down a ton of enemies at once with some survivability.
Loving this wizard build currently: http://us.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/wizard#UiTRjm!XYf!aZZbaZ
Playing solo only in NM act 3 (level 45), only using enough VIT to get my HP up to around 10k and pumping everything else into damage. Shit dies so fast that there's not much need for defense. (I'll be going with a lot more VIT in hell I'm sure, but it just doesn't seem very important in NM)
