So was Michiko and Hatchin made by some of the people that did Bebop? Dunno why but I got a Bebop feel of sorts off this.

Lots of blood. It could be worse given the material, and how the parasytes work, but they opted to just animate a lot of blood and flying limbs.

SAO2 ended just a bit ago. Erica did a good job as Yuuki with range coming form Ryuko Matoi to Yuuki.

...and oddly fast turnaround since I think it's actually airing now in JP land. Haven't watched it, myself, so can't really decide if it's a good pick for the block.
Though, if I'm being honest, my interest in Toonami has been pretty non-existent the past few seasons. Kicking things off with DBZ might be night for the series fans, but it's not really "new" new. AGK didn't really stick with me. Most everything after that is just repeat shows, some having runs aired multiple times in the past already. Cutting the block off at 4am seemed to be where my interest waned.

Nobody watched the rerun hours in that time frame that's why it was cut.
