Also, it looks like the "trail of cinders" is borked and is based off of total DPS. A co-worker playing a DH vaulted twice on the butcher (never shot at him) and killed him.

Its incredibly powerful. Can vault through an elite pack and as long as the minions stay in the trail they'll all die. Act 3 Inferno, if an elite stays in the trail it usually takes half their HP. Threw one up on Azmo and it took 20-25%. Shits OP, but I LOVE it. Just sucks against reflects damage cuz you go from 35k HP -> 0 HP in half a second. Usually against Reflects Damage I vault then immediately SS to avoid the damage.

Yeah, if I'm understanding right, the trails won't reset Sharpshooter, so if you don't shoot, mobs just get hit by a bunch of crits. I suspect that'll get fixed eventually since I don't Blizz would want us killing shit solely by doing cartwheels.

Did they buff up crafted armor in this patch? Or was it just weapons?

Just weapons AFAIK. Crafted armor was already pretty strong.

Does anyone have any experience controlling 2 instances of diablo 3 at once? My brother doesn't play all that much, so I wanted to perhaps use 2 chars to farm when possible. Like I want his char on follow while I clear maps and then just reap the rewards after.

I can already open 2 instances at once, just this game has no /follow command like I'm used to from FFXI >_>

Just like trying to tell people not to leave their shit unattended or else it'll get stolen, yet they still do. This is similar. No matter how many times it's posted or people say it, someone falls for it. Used to be I would sort all my e-mails and carefully pick through them all looking for important stuff. Now I just either delete it all or leave it to pile up like real mail. I figure if it's important, one of the following will happen: 1. People will call me and tell me to check my e-mail from *blah* 2. If I'm expecting the e-mail, I usually get verification first that it was sent (usually a text message) 3. If it's gaming or even sometimes real world related, BG will pick it up and help me choose the right path. And finally 4. I never open/fill out/complete/copy/redirect anything that is in an e-mail unless I verified it through a phone call or text message to ensure it's legit, or do it through a work computer that way if shit gets fucked up, I can let IT sort it out.

I wouldn't say almost got me, I really didn't act on it much. The only reason I asked is because my PayPal account was attached to my Battle.net account due to the D3 RMAH AH. I figured I would ask at least.

I have around 10m budget, looking to upgrade my 2h xbow / bow.

My question is, which is better for long term investment : 1400-1500dps with around 50% crit damage or 1300dps no crit damage but with open socket, or Manticore with 1000-1100dps?

you can use this to help figure out your dps.

just be careful because dps includes attack speed which can make it cloudy based on your skill build. unless the rest of your gear is awesome i'd probably stay away from the manticore, but it all really depends on the skills you're using.

yeah maybe 4 or 5 total. best one i found was black bone arrows after 1.04. the rest were all junk worth a few hundred k.
