Does anyone farm the new cow level? I found the plans for the entry staff and a few ingredients. Just wondering if it's even worth going to or if you have to make a new staff every time you enter.

The staff isn't consumed, but it only allows you to enter Whimisyshire on the indicated difficulty level or lower. Once you craft the basic (normal difficulty) staff, you can upgrade it for a gold fee into higher difficulty versions without re-collecting all the individual items.
not worth it atm cause the treasure clouds were nerfed
Really it's a waste of time. The mobs are of A3 quality but the time it takes to clear the whole place since you kinda can't ignore trash is annoying not to mention getting 5 stack beforehand. You are better off blitzing through A2 in the same amount of time.
Friend was doing them solo in 30 minutes which is about 5-7 packs. I do A2 in an hour with around 40 packs -5 for stacking valor and I get 35 garenteed rare drops in an hour. Now cut that in half so in the same amount of time I get 17 rounded down and then in half again because drop rate is half of a3 and I am getting 8-10 rares whie he only gets 5-7.
Not to mention his packs are harder and he dies a few times.
It was fun once but not worth farming.
So what happens if you're the winning bid on an item that has 4hrs left when the server goes down for like 8 or so? do you win? does it countdown or how does it work?
You win it, you can AH snipe stuff while servers are down
Would anyone happen to have a spare guest pass code?
Looking to try this out to see how it runs on my new computer etc before I buy.
Where do the Skeletons in the barrels get the swords? I mean, I can understand the Skeleton themselves being there- a barrel is as good a place as any for a Skeleton, right?- but who the hell gives them the sword? I think it must be the Goblins... I knew those little bastards were up to something besides collecting shiny objects...
We all know skeletons don't use weapons! They beat you to death with limbs and the shame of 1000 spawns of reflect/mortar/random moonseed deaths.
Cain tends to loop stuck after his death scene on the small invisible partition where he stands. It never messed anything up for me before but this time I spawned in past his death sequence on the quest chart and he was still there. Restarting the game didn't help and for some reason it won't put me on the right portion of the quest log just past his death. So he'll infinitely loop and you can't talk to him to advance the quest. Any work around to this or anyone experienced something similar?
I always imagined Diablo sitting at a desk with the other prime evils helping usher in individual monsters to tell them what role they'll be playing in the part of taking over Sanctuary and such. Enter the meager skeleton, Diablo looking him over, looking down to his checklist, back to the skeleton, back down, and then sighing. "You're on barrel duty!" Then the skeleton just sulks and walks off, awaiting for some random hero to one day set him free.
Then Jay Wilson comes on and says
Jay: "You know Diablo, that doesn't sound very fun to me, I think you should give those skeletons two affixes, like molten and vortex and then double it."
Diablo: "that is a great idea, jay."
Jay: "Also, don't worry about the loot, we'll make him drop a socketed amulet, ring and a rare kings blade or some level 51 extravaganza."
Diablo: "Fantastic, those Nephalem fools will NEVER...."
Jay: "Now for the bad news, we're upgrading legendary's in patch 1.04, we're also nerfing your minions some, we feel the damage is still too spikey."
Diablo: "WHAT ABOUT MY HELLRIFTS? I'LL BE FARMED TO DEATH LIKE IN DIABLO 2."
Jay: "Yeah, uh, well, you don't remember Diablo 2, everyone farmed Baal, I guess you don't remember Diablo 2 as well as you think you did."
Diablo: "BUT THATS NOT THE POINT."
Jay: Settle down big girl, remember, we've set the game up for your minions to be farmed, not you, its more fun that way. God Diablo, AREN'T YOU THANKFUL!? Oh, yeah, by the way, Metzen is coming up here in a few hours to let you see your lines for the DLC for 1.20.
Diablo: "..............."
Jay: "so if you could just go ahead and look over that script, that'll be great, mmm-kay? Thanks a bunch, Diablo."
Still new to the game and I have been wondering, how does barbarians play? Can they run into a pack and just take a beating and live to tell the tale? Looking for a class where I can watch TV and not worry about surviving and just beat shit up.
Monk's probably better than barb at that, and if you get the right gear and adjust your play style you can almost auto pilot as DH
Which would yield better results? Farming Act 2 in MF gear, or Act 3 in dps gear?
Is it possible to take an item off the AH after the initial 5 minutes? Thought I read something about pushing your clock back a while back, but think that's fixed?
