Default Powerleveling guide (solo 1-50 ~4hours)

A lot of people have been asking for this for their alts in other threads. If you still need to do this, you better get on it quick before it is fixed.

Many people have been using Khasim outpost, or ZK runs/Belial runs with a friend, porting out and in and turning in the complete quest 3 times for great exp. But there is another method that you can do solo that works quite well. It's about 10xp a run and each run takes approximately 16 seconds from the time I hit "resume game" until I hit "resume game" again to repeat it.

People claim 1-50 in about 4 hours. I personally have been doing it for about 2hours while doing some other things and I have gotten from 28 into 42 on nightmare difficulty. At first it was a level every 3 minutes, then every 4 minutes etc, hitting 34.5 within 30minutes. I run 70-100 +xp/xp% gear though but not much, and it was all picked up nothing bought.

    Here is the video guide:

It is very easy to become efficient at it and get each run down to 15-16 seconds. You spam spacebar to skip the npc chat and follow him in, I run to the bottom right corner as the red circle goes underneath him. Pop my smokescreen, spam traps on him while running out and just continue running to the doorway. Hit esc and leave game as soon as I click the doorway and hover my mouse cursor over the red ass of the bottom gaurd on the screen which puts my cursor directly over the "Resume Game" button. Boom I'm back in, repeat.

The video is slow, and a little sloppy, but once you get good at it it becomes very easy. The hardest part is getting to the spot the first time as you have to pass some mobs. Enjoy while it still exists. Also note, if you don't care about being AS FAST AS HUMANLY POSSIBLE, the trash can drop what seems to be up to 1k gold per run, so I've made a bit of money doing this as well. Sometimes a shrine spawns in the bottom right corner, +25% xp bonus is nice. This was a great way for me to both level my alt, as well as watch S1 of big bang theory and convert my game of thrones torrent to mp4 for my ipad. Gotta love the "always on top" option in winamp.

    So its not technically solo

How do you get to Nightmare/Hell then? Don't you need to be a specific level to get to Nightmare/Hell in the first place? I mean, since you need to beat Diablo to progress to the next difficulty, that would slow down the progress, unless you can find someone willing to kill kill them for you solo.

If you have friends, getting a diablo kill on normal is pretty easy.

Nightmare is available at 25 and Hell at 50. Getting diablo killed by a friend in normal mode, or a random person in general chat is a joke. You can port to this point in normal mode and farm it for quite a while without killing diablo. Obviously once hitting 25 you are better off jumping to nightmare with a friends help. Not sure why you are nitpicking things with obvious answers when this is a guide for people who are wanting to powerlevel. Generally a powerleveling guide requires some sort of "high level" help, this one requires a level 30ish character kill diablo for you which isn't really "high level". It is probably the fastest way to level, and by far the easiest. Being soloable, it is a friendlier method than having someone spam belial/zk kills for you which is the other popular method of powerleveling. Those methods would also take a friend much higher level than whats required here.

    Do this:

    1. Make a game of the act/quest u want (On normal, nightmare or hell)
    2. Leave game
    3. You can now join the act/quest in inferno in public games
    4. Leave
    5. Press resume, your now in ur own game again even tho you didn't even complete act 1

Honestly it's not like it would be remotely difficult to spend 15k at the auction house as soon as you hit level 25 and smash him yourself to move on to nightmare.

Any idea how this works at higher levels? Getting a little sick of spamming iskatu on my 57 wd to get inferno open. Guess I'll go give it a try.

It's pretty good on hell but you have to be able to kill the shit yourself.

A little faster than iskatu but shitty loot.

Iskatu is 60k every 2-3 minutes though. Pure solo. Boring as hell, but fairly decent for hell.

At 51 its 20-26k a run, and you can do it roughly every 20 seconds. With the huge xp jump at ~52 I don't know whats faster.

Personally I might spam public iskatu's cause there is more gold. But then again this is much more brainless and if you put a movie or tv show on top of your game its win.

Yeah it's faster than iskatu, I don't remember exact numbers but it definitely was. Probably around twice as fast.

But, like I said, shitty loot. As WD either is extremely easy.

I couldn't do it... pretty much any clicking of leave game / resume game more often than every few hours or play session is too much to handle. even 1-50 ~4hr whatever, dunno. we'll have to see when/if I would be able to tolerate playing and powerleveling for exp or farming a goblin at a checkpoint.

I see like kripp's footage of him looking like.. wow wtf zzzz+3 mode when he's Old Ruins WPing goblins. I think I would explode irl fallen maniac style within 2 or 3 hours. He and many of his crew and fans/helpers did Old Ruins for 3+ full days, all 50 hours easily I bet, many 100+ over more days

If youre lazier or your characters gear isn't that great, you can do the khasim outpost quest for exp. (road to Alcarnus / lt vachem). It's act 2 and 50k+ per run. Each run is <2min but you don't get iskatu drops

After playing around past 50, this is definitely the fastest way to level to 60. There isn't as much gold in it, and it is boring though.

However, the points still seem to stand which make this attractive.

    Fastest leveling 1-60
    Solo
    Extremely brainless.

Putting a movie or tv show on top of your game is pretty much the only way to do this without going insane. It will probably get nerfed soon, so get at it if you want an alt leveled fast. From 28-51 I've made maybe 100k gold, iskatu is definitely better if thats what you want. But never having to go to town, and spamming this, its ridiculous.

Yeah I knew it would be, was hoping you guys got to it while you could as mentioned. I got an easy 60 out of it, and don't have really any intention of doing another at least not for a while.
