Are the other starting cities besides Limsa Lominsa so spread out and large?

Feels like I've been running around forever.

Wanted to start in Girdania...but felt compelled to continue my allegiance to San d'Oria and Corsairs.

Gridania is even worse I'd say. Ul'dah is the smallest and most centralized.

How do you find the stat caps for a weapon? I know base damage and DPS has something to do with it, but that's about it.

General ballpark number for primary/secondary stat caps is 330//300 I believe.

I have a question about spending your stat points, I just got to level 10 CON and have points to spend. My plan is to take CON to 15 than switch to ARC, should I put my points in DEX/PIE now or will those stats go back once I switch classes to ARC?

Stats are class exclusive so you can do whatever you want on CON without worrying about what that'll do to your ARC!
Yes, completely different than it was before... be glad.

Of all the things that have been messed up in this game, the sound track from Uematsu(sp?) is nothing short of one of the most beautiful things mankind has ever created.

They chose to release the OST in small batches. They started with like 10 field and battle tracks each, which you can buy at like any online store. I'm guessing they stopped at that when XIV bombed. Not sure if iTunes has it. I torrented mine off #gamemp3s.

For everything else that isn't in those 2 CDs you can check my sig for a link. All the tracks are ripped directly from the game files tho so don't expect looping or fade outs.

so, a while ago I asked how to get the Hamlet DoL hats because let's be honest they are way cooler than relic weapons. I keep hearing conflicting things, last time I thought I discovered via OF post that they were dropped via 50k chest, and reinforced by some people here; however, i now hear that you need to be in the top20 and they come from the captain like offhand tools--which is it? ;_; i want my hats bro, fk seals

Not sure if you need top 20, but we got one from a 60k chest and it was in loot pool (not sure if the person it went to was the top 20 provider or not).

Only ever seen the crafting tools go to top 20 people. Never in loot pool. Hats go to loot pool from chest though.

INT/MND; PIE is basically just MP and Enfeebling Magic; MND is M.ACC and Healing Magic; INT is Atk Magic

Having issues macroing bas-relief cobalt saw. I am 48 carpenter, and my previous mythril saw +1 was working fine. This cobalt saw does have a materia on it, does that screw it up?

I have the same problem with Cobalt Sollerets (Red). they simply won't macro and I think it's a bug.

Check your spelling and make sure the - in bas-relief is there.

Materia makes no difference.

Check your spelling, make sure the parenthesis around the red are correct.

Capitalization isn't necessary for macroing gear like it is with abilities but punctuation obviously still matters.
