Because I have 137% mf before stacks and can still kill most things in act 2?

I find swapping to my MF gear manually while I'm fighting an elite in Act 3 inferno is a bit of a challenge, rofl. Certainly fun!

This. I tried once, threw armor on the ground on accident, and said never again.

I'm glad they didn't add the gear swaps personally and I also think MF is annoying as hell. They should have eliminated it all-together.

Oh boy, sure looks like a typical Spellcast thread on lolalla up in here. In any case, MF swap macros won't get you banned - many have used it in WoW as well simply because it just emulates your mouse movement + clicks and doesn't actually inject anything into d3.exe. Warden will see the Autoit.exe process running, but I highly doubt anyone will ever get for the banhammer for using it simply because it's used for so many other programs (some of which are work related depending on your job). If Warden works the same as it does in WoW, it'll mainly monitor WoW.exe (or in this case, D3.exe) and look for unusual changes that are usually associated with memory modifications and memory injectors (e.g. teleport hacks, speed hacks, no clip, etc).

tl;dr: you won't be banned for using MF gear swap autoit scripts.

I have this awesome habit of getting 1 shot by butcher at 2% while swapping in my mf gear.

I made my own script for swapping MF gear using autohotkey.

If I get banned, back to LoL/SC2.

Yeah I hear you and hear that. It's not fun to me, scripted up easily or not. In fact, in Hardcore mode, it doubles the ante more or less. This isn't XI, and I'm not casting Sleepga II in Dynamis or Thunder IV on Tiamat.

No fucking thanks. One set of gear (plus maybe 2 extra legit swap pieces for VIT or Res All, not MF) at most.

In HC, I feel ready after a town run if the only thing in my inventory is my stack of potions.

Same here. I don't like swapping gear in diablo, one set is good enough for me. I don't need to have all the magicfind to find good stuff. I also think they should have eliminated it as a stat. Its being there doesn't bother me but gold/magic find is kind of annoying to work around when I would rather have better survivability stats on my gear.

They need to make everything revolve around the NV 5 stack and that would settle it.

Make it so you change out gear with 5 stack you lose the stack.

And make it so only a % of your MF is applied per NV stack.

1 stack only 20% of your TOTAL MF is used.

This would fix a lot of shit.

or they could make NV the only source of MF in the game. All problems solved.

This. MF is an archaic stat that should have been eliminated in D3 all together.

Why you hating? Let's get rid of critical hits too, don't want to have to balance gear to make effective gear sets.

I wonder if Blizz can tell when people like kripp click 35 times in 0.6 seconds.
Dont you play HC only? Fuck you care about SC economy and/or cheats

I'd love to see MF/GF gone (Except NV). Then we could have more interesting stats on gems, and a higher probability of non-shitty stat rolls.

If there is no RMAH for HC, (and people WILL cheat be it SC or HC), what does it matter to you if someone else plays with gear swaps? Sure there will be an influx of gear to the AH, however in HC I do not see how that is a problem on par with SC.

Gear upgrades should ideally only be about your combat performance and individual progression. When you see players collecting entire sets of armor built around a non-combat stat because otherwise your individual progression increases at an unideal rate, you have a fundamental problem with that stat.

Drop rates are part of combat performance, this is an loot game after all. Why do you get equipment that lets you kill stuff faster? So that you get loot faster.
