I do know: No. The Pens would have, 110% sure, NO interest in Roy or Leino and, as disappointing as our blueline was come playoffs, Mike Weber and Robyn Regher are not the answer. We'd want franchise-potential D-men, like Fowler, Eric Johnson, Ekman-Larsson, etc. Not some D3-6 guy who only sees top pairing time when the D-core is rocked with injuries or he tremendously compliments a much more talented offensive-minded defenseman like Scuderi with Doughty. Now I'd be interested in hearing about your prospects, cause I don't know what Buffalo has, but out of the listed players, theres nothing the Pens could work with if Meyers wasn't on the table.

Also 28 is 30ish, just on the low end. Seems like hes been in the league less than I got the impression of.

Luke Adam - C - He played with Pominville and Vanek about midway through the year, and completely tore it up. Then, Lindy decided that he would jumble the lines for the 40th time last season, and he ended up on a line with Leino and Roy. After that, he was sent back down to the AHL.

Marcus Foligno - LW - Played 14 games with Buffalo, got 13 points. Brother of Nick Foligno and son of Mike Foligno. This kid is full of hustle, which was severely lacking in Buffalo last year.

Braden McNabb - D - Got some serious playtime when half of Buffalo's D went down with injuries. He didn't make many mistakes, which is what I look for in a young D guy.

I'm interested to know why you're not too interested in Erhoff. He was probably Buffalo's best D man all season. Myers played well this season, but Erhoff looked much less confused than Myers did.

Myers has more upside imo. He's bigger, can play a more physical game if he wanted to, bigger shot, etc. It's not everyday you find a defenseman his size roaming around. He's also seven years younger than Ehrhoff. Malkin is only 25. The only way he moves is if the Pens get cornerstone players in return. Ehrhoff is not a cornerstone defenseman. Myers is.
