yo don is becoming my fav character
yea this show is p. fucking solid. prolly my 3rd fav show (after its always sunny+the league). the random comedy and the transition to seriousness is awesome
Last night's episode was pretty good all around. Also I'm actually surprised with Olivia Munn... Was convinced that she was terrible at acting but shes doing pretty good in this show. Possibly cause she seems sarcastic/quick witted irl that when she plays her role in The Newsroom shes already in character.
I think that is exactly it Kurokikaze, I was trying to put my finger on it. Her character pulls that wit off perfectly. I actually really like her character too. I like that she is this... broken human that has no idea how to talk to people. I have never really felt like she was an idiot playing a smart person. She never struck me as ditzy in her interviews. Of course she could be if it was called for on AoTS, and was plenty of times, but she has always spoken well. Love love love Alison Pill in this, therefore I love your signature. Everyone just plays so well off of each other in this cast.
Drunk Charlie Skinner though is still my favorite.
Yeah man, definitely the best character on the show. Olivia's character is growing on me though. ;o
love charlie lol
"He's Rudy."
"Not everything is Rudy."
"Some people just don’t understand Rudy. Just me and Rudy. And Neal. And the guy Neal found in Cairo."
"Amen."
"Thank you."
"No his name is Amen."
Dis chain of events... lol
Seems like the last few episodes were like a mini chain and next episode starts a new chain.
How many episodes is the season... I'm assuming standard HBO 12?
10.
Hahaha that was a great episode
Same, Sloan has been a very interesting character so far. Thought she'd just be eye candy when she was cast, pleasantly surprised.
Finally saw the latest episode... meh. Seemed too schmaltzy at the end, and they're really doing their utmost to make Mac seem like a buffoon in every regard besides being an EP. Solid stuff with Neil though.
It would depend on what events there are to cover. Technically they can cover 5 weeks per episode and not "catch up" to the present. They did skip ahead quite a lot during the Tea Party bit, but they're slowing it down now, episode 4 and episode 5's main events take place less than 3 weeks apart.
That Lisa / Jim scene kind of made me cringe. Bitch, take your business elsewhere
Edit: That Rudy scene. Makes me want to rewatch Rudy.
Have you felt his pecs?
This show son...damn.
Olivia Munn did a great job this episode. Didn't know she had chops like that, color me shocked lol
Damn this show is great. And yeah, surprised at how well Olivia Munn has been doing. The scene between Sloan and Charlie was great.
