rqt or some jobforum>bst better to ask for specifics, I only know it can be done. Usually Falcor, Yuly, or Gerard; often /dnc for either cures or stuns(violent flourish)
Dynamis real target is singles, going subless for 100's isn't a solid option. Find the dynamis thread and the dynamis page on BGwiki and read the tops of them, then just go try it to get a feel. Worst case you die and lose meaningless xp. BST/DNC with Yuly or Falcor will be good here too.
I searched all guides but there's nothing that i want.
Do a CoP zone and use this: https://www.bg-wiki.com/bg/Dynamis#Dynamis_Proc_system
Go BST/DNC or something and make some gil. Your first few runs might be light on currency while you get used to it, but eventually you should pull over 100 coins/run solo.
BISMARCK IS RUNNING SHIT NOW
Just when I think I'm done with the game, SE goes and announces another expansion to it...
I quit right after the 95 cap was released.
Jobs were: MNK, WHM, BLM, RDM, PLD, SMN, BLU
My questions:
- Is Abyssea still a significant part of the game?
- Has Voidwatch improved at all from the shit it was a year ago? And is it possible for someone stuck at the beginning of Voidwatch to get to the end in a reasonable amount of time?
- Any new (or fun) events?
- Heard there are new meritable weaponskills. Any of them really worth taking for the jobs I listed above?
1. Yes
2. No sure, someone else can answer
3. Neo-Nyzul, Neo-Limbus, Neo-Dynamis, Odin v. 2.0, Legion

4. Shijin Spiral for MNK is good, and Requiescat for BLU and PLD is good.
We need to get a running tally on who all has come back to Bismarck/needs pearls to ShotsFired.
I created a character on Bismark, but haven't gotten to actually play yet. I'll be on tonight/tomorrow though, name is Angryelephant...galka of course.
I just reactivated a couple weeks ago to a dead linkshell on Bahamut. If anyone has a linkshell that is recruiting please send a tell to Sevin. 99 jobs are BLU and PUP. I've been playing off and on for about nine years. Looking to try to get started in Voidwatch but am open to just about anything.
Vana'diel Collection Abyssea Edition is $12 (40% off) as part of the Steam Summer Sale.
Hey, I just came back to the game after quitting back in summer of 2009. I am addicted again and can't get enough of the game, but one thing I am having trouble with and thought maybe this thread would be the best to ask it in for future reference for other people.
Since there's a shit ton of gear that I am having to sort though and learn, it is a bit overwhelming on deciding what I should be working towards for gearing up my scholar. Does anyone have any advice on what pieces are good to work towards for healing/nuking/whatever would work for scholar outside of AF3+2? Or just anything in general you think would be some good advice. I'm frustrating myself that whenever someone is like "so what items do you need to get?" and I never have a concrete answer to give them.
Just copy-pasting some sets for you; they're not definitive, but they will point you in the right direction for a lot of stuff:

I'm reading all the guides now, but I just have a couple questions.
I've got 4 jobs at 75. 3 I want to take to 99 and gear up. Factoring in that I haven't played since before Abyssea came out and would have to do all of the stuff associated with it, how long would it take to get those 3 jobs to 99 and gear them up, genkais included?
I also want to take PLD to 99. Are PLD relevant? I'm not going to do it if they aren't.
edit: Also, I bought the Abyssea collection. I only need the code for the last 2 Abyssea expansions though, where are those in Steam? Can't find them.
Thanks Lyltia :D I'll look through this
CD Key in Steam:
Spoiler: show
The 1 code is good for all expansions, just register it once and you'll get everything enabled.
If you get decent parties.. your first 75-99 will take maybe a day of playtime, since you'll need to keep reseting xp chain to do limit breaks, and find a party (if not returning to an LS w/ friends) for the 95-99 cap fight. If you have xp scrolls around so you can break cap > scroll to level into next range > start next quest, it'll save some time.
Next 2 should be done in 4-5 hours each.
PLD are revelant.. sometimes. More often than not a WAR|DRK|SAM|etc will actually have hate, but PLD is nice to have around for either when shit goes sideways or holding adds on zilart VWNMs.
FYI a lot of people are having issues receiving their Destreir Beret after using the code. Square confirmed it's an issue and is working on fixing it.
