Just screwing around with WAR using stuff I already have. Is it worth WS in clout boots for the +4 str as a trade off for the store tp -7 and -3 dex I would lose over using perle feet?

Does anyone have a WAR .xml I could take a look at?

Is there a Windower plugin available yet that takes away the job ability animation delays? I used to swap out JA animation .DATs for the Merit Point! animation .DAT to get around the annoying delays that hinder your movement/performance, but an official plugin would be nice!
Is the WSD+10% ToM dagger garbage? I can't recall anyone talking about it ever. I understand relic, aluh, and str thokcha are better. I don't do voidwatch and don't have an interest in doing a relic or empy dagger. D:44 delay:186 and WSD+10% final stats. Thoughts?
My friend wanted me to ask on here as to why augmented Armada Hauberk is so popular a body piece for war? Isn't there a better body option then that for War? Any answers for me to give to him would be most appreciated.
When I asked about this, ppl gave me shit for being lazy cuz I didnt want to use clipper.
Trust me, .dat swapping the JAs is the best all around solution. (no windower plugin yet)
I think it's because it has good DD stats and has STP for maintaning an x-hit build (good WS gear with stp is hard to find)
Question of my own:
My credit card is expiring at the end of the month, anyone had any trouble updating CC info on the new pay-by-credit-card thing in their SE account? Would be nice to know what kind of headache i'm in for.
If it didn't work in offhand it definitely wouldn't be worth it. I guess I just can't be cheap anymore![]()
Best strategy with least amount of people for ENM Playing Host?
I've been doing a lot of FC parties lately. I'm currently using a STR magian since I already had it, but I'm curious if there's a better great axe for the sole purpose of fell cleaving. TP Bonus +100 or WS Damage +10%, maybe?
TP only affects Fell Cleave's AOE range, so 10% WS DMG is superior.
So, after following suggestions from some of you guys, yesterday we had our first lowmen Tavnazia run.
Setup was THF/DNC, BLU/DNC and me on SCH/RDM. SCH is kinda boring on runs with this little people, but I needed XP trial so it couldn't be helped. Also I suck on SCH and I'm lazy, so most of the time I was just Accessioning various buffs and shooting some enfeeble here and there, I hardly stayed in Dark Arts to nuke.
Zone was empty.
It's been a bit slow and sloppy because it was our first time, didn't know the position of mobs, so it took us a bit of time to learn how to move around, getting TEs etc.
We fought in JA time the following mobs:
The 8 Bees + 2 Bugards
Worms (insanely easy)
Makaras + random taurs around when there were no Makaras.
In the last minutes with Embrava up we tried a bit of Clusters.
In the end we walked out with roughly 12k XP done (with Novennial Ring, so that really was 6kish), 300ish coins and uh... 8 forgotten items, more or less. This looks like a huge result for me, especially considering that I hardly did anything damage-wise, and that overall it's been a very sloppy run. I was expecting much less.
Some questions now:
1) Maybe this is just placebo effect or something, but do mobs in Tav have a lower proc rate than other CoP zones? Especially tauri, despite the fact you can proc them with anything.
2) Are EP mobs in here easier than other EP nightmare mobs in CoP zones? They seemed so easy... really, we were all surprised. Not like Nigthmare mobs in the other zones are "hard" or anything, but these seemed way easier than that.
3) I wonder why they didn't put more than 2 Bugards, at least 4 would have seemed perfect. I can't think of any possible valid reason why they did that.
Haha, oops. I was aware of that, it just slipped my mind I guess.
In general, is this a safe way to estimate TP Bonus vs. WS DMG %?: Assume capped fSTR (neither TP bonus nor WS DMG % affect this term) and leave off the PDIF term (again, TP bonus/WS DMG % don't affect this term) and check to see which is higher. It would be helpful to know for cases where TP actually does something for the weapon skill.
I'm curious to know how people estimate fSTR for cases where it does matter.
Also, has anyone estimated how much embrava affects OAT weapons's WS frequency advantage? Running around in Nyzul Isle with 5 regain means having 40-100% TP upon engaging for a lot of floors, which must lower the OAT weapon's advantage.
Slighty off topic but I am so far out of the loop now its crazy, so much gear has been added.
STP still a stat SAM use? Now there is so much more haste and multi-attack gear available. What is the value of STP I should be using if so? If someone could direct me to some presets for a bit of inspiration would be lovely! thanks
